I suppose that might be moot, though. Everyone is in costume, so you could possibly use Arcana to figure out Heilan is dressed as and that's about it (because of the masks and all).

Oh, just making sure in case any of the PCs are already famous in their own rights.

I'm not saying there aren't, just that you currently have no idea of knowing because of the costumes. Ossicar and maybe Tania's family might pop up on the nobility radar (he did blow up his well know family after all).
You should also take note Grazzt that your Lore Master ability does not function like a normal bard's. Quote:

Just a thought that occurred to me, which may more may not be useful here. Because it doesn't affect anyone but me, I'll put it in secret text.
Also: Heyyyy...how come I'm gonna be murdered? |

I hadn't even noticed until that point (I think I had been looking up something else when I came across it), so I figured you wouldn't notice or care either. So what's your verdict? Rules As Written or Rules As Intended?

I have a similar question to Grazzt's - is it possible to get some hints about who is who in this ball just by listening in on the details they give away about themselves? That's what Tania was thinking of doing, but if the big event has started it might all be moot... As an aside, would like to be concealing a dagger and thieves' tools, nothing else I think. |

@Aosaw: Nothing to see here folks... And you get to die because I rolled a dice and somebody had to come up. @Dragonsnack: Basically now, the night has been set in motion, you can attempt to get out of going on the garden murder mystery tour (like Ossicar...although, you might want to be better at it than he was), or you can go in. You should have plenty of time to interact with some folks though.

@Aosaw: I am assuming that Diplomacy check is headed Eden's way? I was just a little confused because in theory there are three woman currently standing center stage with you (Eden, Tania, and Shiari).

Er. Yes. Yes, it was meant for Eden.
I don't make diplomacy checks with PCs. Unless I do. |

The clarification is good, though. Makes my life easier. I will have another post up tomorrow...I unfortunately took a nap and now all I want to do is keep sleeping so that is what I am off to do.
