I did tangle a tasty lure in front of two of our party members, but alas, as in real life, if you want something you have to seize it yourself.

Dear players,
Your dearly departed DM is not, in fact, quite yet departed (although, I am probably not very dear). Nay, I am still quite corporeal. I apologize for my absence, but I fractured the holy-living-hand-grenades out of my foot on the first day of class. Pain meds always tend to make me extremely loopy (or more loopy than usual) and I was sleeping through the better part of most days. I am now on the mend, though, and will be returning to my duties shortly (i.e. sometime this week...hopefully toward the front half of it). Patience is appreciated.

Good to hear it! Sorry to hear about the accident though.
Fractured the "holy-living-hand-grenades" out of your foot, did you? ... if you phrase it that way, does that mean we are welcome to make loads of jokes (Monty Python and otherwise) about your condition? I mean, after all, YOU started it! |

I'm starting to think I'm carrying around some kind of curse or something.
Almost every DM I've had on this site has broken bones during the game, usually right after it starts. I'm starting to feel bad.

Maybe you should put a warning in your game applications, Silverbreeze.

Alright folks! Post is up. Sorry for the delay, especially to Aosaw since his conservation piece was me. Nice work chatting with each other. Certainly don't be afraid to keep doing that.

Also, for some reason Mr. Pibb strikes me as a particularly dwarven name and style for a soda - is that just me? |

I will be updating again on Friday when I have some free time between these papers, lesson plans, and increasingly large stack of reading.

Really, Dragonsnack? I always thought Dr Pepper sounded more dwarven. Pibb makes me think of gnomes.
Take your time, TP. We'll be here. |

Really? I always thought Dr. Pepper was the drink of gnomes. He's their mad scientist king immortalized in drink!

No, gnomes don't have doctors. Mostly because they don't believe in "formal" education.
Much more of a "do it yourself" kind of crowd. Although now that I think of it, a gnome is probably more likely to drink something like Surge or Mellow Yellow, simply because of the neon colors... Last edited by Aosaw; Sep 8th, 2011 at 12:49 AM. |
