A plaque in the front lobby reads:
"All souls living and dead welcome whatever they are ready to cope with;
all else they ignore, deny to be possible, or pronounce to be monstrous and wrong."
The Front Lobby is where all new patrons of Eternity's End arrive and take the tour.
All new players are expected to be versed in the following articles:
and of course, basic rules knowledge of the Pathfinder System which can be learned here for free.
It is also highly suggested that all players be familiar with the Eternity's End GM Manual so as to be able to know the full breadth of the game rules as well as reading the rule in the "How to Use" threads and Original posts of each board or thread they choose to participate in before using that particular area.
Players that need help performing any of the required functions to apply from building a character to filling out their character sheet should go to the help area.
Auditing Procedure
It is important to know what the auditors do and look for so that you can have your sheet ready for them correctly. Remember, auditors are here to verify that your sheet is legal, not prepare if for you. If you need help preparing your sheet, go to the HELP section.
Applying to play Eternity's End
Step 1
First create your character sheet in accordance with your respective Player Tier as outlined in the EE Player's Manual.
Step A
While logged in to DnDOG head to the character view page.
Step B
Head to the bottom of the page and create the sheet by filling in the name, selecting pathfinder for the system and pressing "create". Name your character by first and last name of the character using no spaces or punctuation.
Step C
Head to the character view page and apply Public Permission to your sheet.
Step E
Fill in all relevant fields while being sure to save often.
Step 2
Next create a thread in the front lobby forum naming the thread in the following format: "'User ID': 'Character Name' Application".
Step 3
If you qualify for Player Tier 2 or 3 please include a link to such evidence such as through the hall of fame or other means.
Step 4
Link the character class and race pages to help the GM easily verify that your character is legal. Please only use links to D20PFSRD.
Step 5
Post the code for the new site members please note this method is mandatory for EE only, not site widemandatory posting format in your application thread:
example
The first name links to your private threadRaistlinThe Second Name links to your character SheetMaejereThe Lost
Narrative text is done in plain black. If your character only has one name, please split the links between the name, such as link to private threadBilLink to character sheet.bo
Common Speech is written in Navy.
Psionic Communications are written in any shade of Purple
Please be sure your character portrait is not overly large. Roughly 100-200 pixels or so (l&w) is where you want to be. A little large or a little small isn't an issue, just so long as it's not so big it will dominate the screen and add lots of extra scrolling to threads you post in, or so small that you have very poor detail.

Step 6
Post the copy code inside of no parse tags*
example

First Name Last Name Faction Name Or 'The Lost' to be discreet about faction
This will be included in your private thread for easy copy and paste use whenever needed.
Step 7
Include your not your background, this is what you use to describe your character to othersintroductory description as outlined in the Eternity's End Player's Manual as well as the best picture of your character.
Step 8
Post your short background as outlined in the Character Creation section of the Player's Manual of Eternity's End.
Quote:
Keep backgrounds at 100-500 words that briefly sum up your character. If you wish to write an additional longer background (this is not a replacement) you may qualify for a bonus from the story teller right at the start of play, but this is not required, unlike the 100-500 word description that is required.
This description will be used primarily by GMs to get a quick feel for your character when you enter their adventure.
If you do happen to write a longer background as well whether it qualifies for a story teller bonus or not, you are welcome to post it here but please make use of spoiler tags, labeling the button as "extended background".
Step 9
Request an Audit through the this thread with a link back to your completed application thread.
A character Audit Official will review the application, and then either approve the character and include a link to their new private thread where he will have quoted your finished and approved post, or, they will reject the application and state explicitly why in your application thread.
The player may then address or amend the sheet and reapply with the character.
Other players can assist with auditing, but it is noted that their advice is not to be taken as fact, only a GM may approve a character, however as many players are helpful, if one points out an error to you, they are probably just trying to help out to get you in the game.
Step 10
While awaiting your audit, visit Fred and review each of the rules of the rooms to familiarize yourself with the setting and rules if you haven't already. You may also feel free to read over the FAQ, ask questions in the help area, engage others in the public OOC or even browse some other threads to prepare for your experience at Eternity's End.
Step 11 If your Audit is rejected, please make the corrections and repeat step 9 as necessary.
Once the sheet is approved by the official you will transfer the sheet to your auditor at which point they will give final verification and pass all permissions to the Head GM.
You will still retain all creative liberties and intellectual property of your character (where DnDOG site rules do not supersede) but you may not edit your character sheet from this point forth. This is because GMs will have rotating players from game to game and player oversight is not something they can do effectively. As such, a few people may decide it is a good idea to cheat and then claim the problem as a clerical error if caught. This elimates that process and ensures a fair and balanced environment for everyone within the scope of the game rules.
Step A
While logged in to DnDOG head to the character view page.
Step B
Select the edit option on the far right hand side, choosing the sheet you wish to add to Eternity's End. For the Campaign ID enter 213.
Step C
Transfer the character to be sure to spell their name exactlyyour auditor. If you see a fatal error message, this has been reported already to the staff and is being looked at. Don't worry, your transfer was successful.
Step D
Notify the auditor by name in your application thread that the ownership of the sheet has been transferred to them.
Step 12
Once the audit is approved at the final stage the sheet is passed to the head GM the Auditor will create the new private thread in the private chambers area that should look like the example to include all finalized information from the application and name it in the same fashion sans the word application. They will then archive the application thread to the general thread archive and send a PM to the player in question with a welcome message and a link to their new private character thread. Players are free to keep notes in this thread with the understanding that all character sheet activity will be recorded here by GMs as well.
During the creation of this thread the auditor must be sure to replace the text of "my character home" link with the link to the private character thread as shown in the difference between the two example threads: Application and Private Chambers.
Step 13:
You will recive a PM from your Auditor notifying you of your private thread and your successful implementation to the game.
Players that follow the steps listed above and have good book keeping are now approved to enter Eternity's End. Once inside characters are free to engage other characters in the pub, make it a point to seek out their first adventure or arena battle, or even submit their background or other idea to the story teller.
We have our first official PC, Insacrum's character sheet has been accepted and a private thread created. Everyone else I've made comments in your personal thread.
