bugger, here's the details, but you need a feat

Hover

This creature can hover in place with ease and can kick up clouds of dust and debris.

Prerequisite: Fly speed.

Benefit: A creature with this feat can halt its movement while flying, allowing it to hover without needing to make a Fly skill check.

If a creature of size Large or larger with this feat hovers within 20 feet of the ground in an area with lots of loose debris, the draft from its wings creates a hemispherical cloud with a radius of 60 feet. The winds generated can snuff torches, small campfires, exposed lanterns, and other small, open flames of non-magical origin. Clear vision within the cloud is limited to 10 feet. Creatures have concealment at 15 to 20 feet (20% miss chance). At 25 feet or more, creatures have total concealment (50% miss chance, and opponents cannot use sight to locate the creature).

Normal: Without this feat, a creature must make a Fly skill check to hover and the creature does not create a cloud of debris while hovering.

For Darkshard's sake, a little summary of the current situation (As best I am aware, OOC):

The warlord is slain
The anvil has struck and is relatively successful
The heavenly host (allies) are going to deliver a hammer blow any moment now
The elves position is unknown, although if the post that just leaked out due to bad tags is anything to judge by the elves are about to strike as well.

This probably means the main battle will be over soon, but not yet

But elsewhere, other troops of ours have been struck by goblins, this fight is going less well, with an unknown number of goblins concealed within a fog bank.

However, this too is likely to turn in our favour soon, as we now have 4 PC's and a dragon, plus 5 skilled berserkers recently on scene.

As far as I know you aren't within earshot.

EDIT:

On another note, I like the secret tags system, it doesn't make sense that we stay together all the time, especially as lieutenants of an army. However, if we go this route again, may I suggest some more description of the events surrounding characters, even if they aren't particularly advancing the plot, for the simple sake of sanity and an idea of what's happening around you.

In a game I'm running one of my players cannot jump the gap, and has asked to be tossed. I have come up with the following and thought it was relevant

The halfling counts as an Inappropriately sized weapon at a difference of 1 size category Attack -2

Given that you are also not proficient in Halflings you take a penalty of -4 for using an improvised weapon

Finally the gap is 12' meaning that you take a -2 range penalty

Throwing a Halfling is therefore taken at an attack of -8
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The object you are targeting is Immobile / Helpless (-5 to AC)
You are making a touch attack (The grounds damage resistance, armour etc is ignored)
The object you are targeting is at least colossal (-4 to AC)

Giving it an AC of 1

Failure to hit by less that 5 will result in a reflex save on behalf of the halfling of DC 12 to catch the ledge
Failure to hit by more than or equal to 5 will result in the halfling falling (There is ground down there, no falling forever) without a save, taking fall damage
A hit will result in an acrobatics check on behalf of the halfling of DC 10 land or roll upon landing without taking damage. Failing this check will result in fall damage
Of course, Oz is large, so there's an additional -2 to attack for an undersized weapon.

Oz is carrying ~100lbs out of ~930 before medium load, with an enhanced STR of 29. How far away is the smoke? Can he throw a goblin into the smoke?

Grapple, Throw, 5ft step, repeat.

Or, for flavor of the Flurry of blows, just grab 3 of them in a bear hug and squeeze? Goblins have big eyes right? Think they'd pop?

The smoke starts at some 15 ft from the ditch, which is 10 wide, giving a total of 25 ft.

I just need some clarification. All the secret/non-secret text going back and forth and then the added movements has me a bit confused. I know Malos is in the same area as Althazar and Saverok (sp?), who else can I see?

Considering the presence of a dragon, plus two recent fire discharges in the area, it's probably covered by a 14, considering that 0 is "See visible objects"

On that topic, I once rolled a -1 on a perception check, boy did I feel stupid.
