Be sure to read Pirate's Code before you make your character! If you have any questions or anything, let me know.

Hey all, nice to be gaming with you.
Oh, and, holy smokes Red Moon, how'd you manage 4 sixes?!?! Currently experiencing some ability score envy... ![]() |

So, what's everyone thinking about playing?
And, I hope no one winds up envying my scores... ---- Edited to add: Going with a Cleric. A scrawny, little cleric. But you see he has Besmara's Blessing, specifically a skull and bones looking birthmark, and get got nabbed by a press gang that saw his mark, and thought it would be a good omen to have him on board. Short term survival ability: Too wimpy to be a decent sailor, but no one dare throw him overboard, due to his mark. Long term survival ability: When one is a healer, and can bring forth curatives upon injured Captain's men, one can get the job of Assistant Ship's Doctor. I've yet to find a listing of Domains for Besmara, so I'm just going with ones of Gozreh that I think would be covered by Besmara as well. Last edited by zevonian; Jan 15th, 2013 at 08:22 PM. |

Greetings, everyone. Look forward to gaming with you all. Please be patient with me! I've played plenty of 3.5 over the years, but, this will be my second Pathfinder game. Many thanks to Zev for the first!
And I suspect I just used up all of my rolling ability for the entire game there. Don't blame me when I roll all 1s for the rest of the game. ![]() Edit: Forgot to say, I'm looking at a Magus. I always thought they seemed cool. Last edited by RedMoon; Jan 15th, 2013 at 06:45 PM. |

Hey folks. Also, I believe mountainbound wants to be a monk, so so far we have Cleric, Magus, and Monk.
Oh, and Besmara's domains are Chaos, Trickery, War, Water, and Weather, as per the Inner Sea Campaign Guide. Silly its only in that but whatever... There you go!

Based on my rolls, I'm rethinking Monk. I'll probably go with Psychic Warrior instead -- a dervish archetype from a distant monastery. Ancient Explorer will probably be his campaign trait.

Hey all. Looks like we are in need of a rogue, maybe of the obvious pirate (or swashbuckler) archetype if allowed. I'm thinking of a twist to separate him from your run of the mill sea dogs, but I'm still churning ideas around in my mind.
Though I have in mind a leadery future captain type as well, just unsure of the class. He would be well rounded but not particularly great at anything, with Buccaneer's Blood as the trait either way. I'll wait for input and word from the fifth before finalizing a decision.

@ RedMoon: You did well in your NPSG. Glad to see you've gotten interest in further PF games.
@ Tripod: Thanks for that. Yeah, I don't have the Inner Sea Guide, and I know Gods and Magic has less than a page on Besmara, so I've not had too much material to run with. My idea is that my character had rudimentary training from followers of Gozreh, ones who respect Besmara (they think those two deities were lovers or somethng), and knew that he was destined to watch over travelers of the seas one day...travelers that just happened to be bloody pirates. In providing him the basics of how to heal and how to pray, they've somehow honored both deities. |

Hey guys, I'll be the 5th here and I'm happy to be gaming with you all. Most of you I've gamed with multiple times here. RedMoon, nice ta meetcha! Everyone else, good to be gaming with you again!
I have no clue what I'm playing yet, and my DnDOG time this week is severely limited, so don't be surprised if I don't get anything put together until next week. Tripod, as my coworker, is clearly aware of this as well. For the moment I'm going to look over the rules and maybe drop some dice for stats.

An update: I can take the front-line warrior role. Will be starting out as a Soulknife. I think the class is actually playable in Pathfinder, and no chance of dropping my weapon overboard! |

I'm thinking either Fighter or a Druid. I haven't played Druid in ages, so I'm leaning that direction.

You know... I think Druid is possibly the only class I have never, ever played. Which is strange, because they seem fun.

Done and totally geared up to begin!
It's been almost 2 years since I've created a new character... forgot how much work goes into it. In any case, I'm happy with my tank. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the party shapes up. |
