I appreciate everyone's posts, and I think you're all doing great. I just want to be sure folks recognize that I'm not actually seeing any actions at this point. I agree that this is not a straightforward encounter and you might have some planning to do. I think of us as moving in combat turns at this point, however, with each player's post representing his/her actions during that round.

It would be splendid if everyone could use a "declared actions" style of OOC block when posting, but I will do my best to interpret your posts if you are not thusly articulate. So far it seems like a lot of Free "chat" options with some Standard "stealth" options, and of course a Move "ready objects" action.

As I said, it's cool. Planning and preparation are pretty critical given the constraints you're operating under.

I just want people to understand, when I post another two-sentence bullpoop update, that it's because there's not much for me to post yet.

Well, the rumors of my return appear to be exaggerated.

I'm not sure how long I'll be gone. I'm hoping to start posting in my games again come mid-February, but I can't make any promises.

I don't want to stop this game, but it also has dragged a lot. The end goal of my first week -- revealing the big plot device that I wrote up back when it was still summer out -- has still not come to pass, and our post a week rate has proven to be sometimes ambitious.

So, while I will be trying to resurrect the game when i return, I understand if people are simply tired of waiting for it. I'll check in again when I return.

Thank you for bearing with me. It's been a good run, if not exactly what I expected.
