Mmmm. The plan was to post tonight on my way to work but I got on the train and my laptop is dead. Post to come tonight after I finish school work, after work

I've got to say though, Sass, I appreciate the music that you put into the posts. Not only does it set the mood, it gives me more music to listen to on the train to work

Ladies and Gentlemen - my daughter has arrived. Everything went well and the family is in good condition overall. I'll be taking a short break the next few days and then slowly start up again, starting with the games that I DM.

Hrm, the only thing I particularly dislike about an averaged initiative is that it makes it harder for classes with sneak attack to catch targets flat-footed. General grouping might be the best solution, to be honest.

With initiative, I've found that in pbp I like it best when DM rolls for enemy initiative and those who beat it acts first. If no one beats it, it is still an opportunity to write impressions down and take free actions like knowledge rolls. Speaking of.. what kind of knowledge to ID it, Sass?

I've considered general grouping but ultimately it works easier for me if I just average the whole thing. General grouping may work better for PFS but I doubt I'd ever use it for another game.

I don't mind that system as a player but as a DM that's too much upkeep for me, D2J. Plus I'm too OCD to allow myself to doublepost in-game without a damned good reason, and that's not one I'd consider. I prefer the entire round to be run in my post, regardless of whether it's party or enemies first in a round.

To ID this bad girl, Nature check.

EDIT: Initiatives done; I simplified and did not include our ghostly friend or dog friend and assume they had the same Initiative as you lot did. I rolled horribly, so she's flat-footed. MURDER HER NOW.

That's cool Sass. I feel safe in your handling of the mechanics, so you just do what needs to be done.

@Kristoph - Hana need flanking, right? Or will she stay at range? If so, it would be most excellent to have ghost buddy on the side of the nature woman.
