You walk down the new path and eventually enter another room. To your right is a portcullis if you look through you see that beyond it are stairs leading down. The portcullis itself is locked. Inside the room is a statue. Those who step up to it will have the statue animate and throw SP at you.
You still have some feeling that Something is watching you

Liars watches the others wonder where to go. When she notices something strange. She walks slightly south of the room and reveals(gasp) a secret door.

ooc I believe the investigation should count or you'll all sit and wait.(no offense) so I had your last investigation work here. Now the question is secret door or locked portcullis

Liara Dawnwalker Liara called out to her companions. "Hey guys, look! There is a door here." Pointing at the secret door, she smiled proudly. Then turning to Nike, she replied with a wink "About your remark earlier..I will tell you that I have never stolen anything from anyone..but I can make them give me things. And knowing what they have hidden up their sleeves is half the battle." Still smiling, she turned to exam the newly found door. "Now let's see.."

Then out of curiosity he steps away and then approaches the statue again to see if it might throw another silver piece at him. He then examines the portcullis looking down to see how far the stairs. the Liars Liara says she'd found a door Themis walks over to see what she found then asks, "Can you open it?"

Faewynn crossed her arms and looked over the doorway, standing next to Liara, "Why don't we just bash it open?"

As themis walks back up to the statue it starts throwing more silver prices soon hundreds of them are on the floor. as he looks at the portcullis he sees it leads to a dead end. Liara searches the door for traps and finds none.

Nike She chuckled at Liara's statement adding, "Oh and I can see just how that would have worked out Liara. Afterall there are many wealthy women in Athens who need a little more in their lives than boring husbands might provide. They continued on finding a door which Themis suggested bashing open."Bashing it open works for me, let's check and see if it's locked or not first shall we?" She moved to open said door and would go through unless it was locked. In which case she would attempt to Dice Force Door: 1d20+3 (19)+3 Total = 22 force it open.

Perhaps it is just a passageway of some sort or there is something else hidden in that room."

Faewynn looked around for some kind of small rock. Picking up a pebble, she threw it down the dead end, to see if it would actually make contact with the wall or it was some kinda trick.

Liara Dawnwalker Liara frowned. "Seems like our lord of underworld has a fondness for mazes." She side glanced at Themis as if she was blaming him for their difficulties. "I suppose I can look for hidden passages again..." She spoke unenthusiastically, watching Faewynn toss a rock at the dead end.

 

Liara waits if the rock toss results in anything interesting. Then search the dead end again for hidden buttons or passages.
