Re: your current sig... a guy I work with has been singing the praises of Watchmen for months, and I'd been meaning to try to find a copy but kept forgetting. So I was googling "the world will look up and shout" and, obviously, Watchmen references came up, and following one of them revealed the upcoming movie. The trailers for it look awesome, so I went ahead and ordered the book (along with Snow Crash, which he has also been trying to get me to read).

Go ahead and assume that if you can see it, there is the chance that your character could have heard it - use your own discression at that point. For the items that are only heard by specific people I will use SECRET tags.

Some leads have been thrown out there for ya to bite, just hope they don't bite back.

As for me, I'm having a little issue with writer's block right now so for the meantime just pretend I'm following Bhoradran like a puppy. I can only post the same thing multiple times without repeating myself or going into a page-long interior monologue which would amount to, well, repeating myself even there (thinking the same thing over and over again).

I was just reviewing your house rules and have a question. In the crit chart section you mention rolling another attack to confirm. Since 4e doesn't require confirmation of crits, do you still want us to do that? If so, does it only apply to the special results, or is confirmation required for the crit damage also?

Yes on rolling the confirmation, but it only applies to the special results now.

After a few encounters I may introduce a few new houserules. There are a number of things I'm not 100% happy about with 4e, but I want to play out normal rules a few times first.

Normally, drawing a weapon (or any other item) is a minor action. Does it become a move action if you do it in the same post as you roll initiative? The house rules seem to suggest so.
