Sorry for the double post in the game thread. The actions in the first one aren't correct and I thought I had cancelled the post before it went through. I'll let you sort out which rolls you want to use (first or second post) but the actions listed in the second post are what I actually wanted my character to do.....I got too busy looking up powers, stats, etc and neglected to proofread my post before hitting the button.

I may not have access to a pc after about 30 minutes (for the rest of the night) so Griffith will move down with 15 feet of a goblin and throw a hammer at them (+5 to attack, 1d8 damage, str is 17). After that, he will draw his axe and prepare for melee combat

You're on there, but I did have to load the picture into the browser by itself and refresh it before the changes showed up.

I have to ask - do these goblins appear extremely threatening? I presumed they'd be normal goblins, but they're all doing 9 or 10 damage with every attack. Since they're using spears and crossbows, and those are 1d8 weapons, that means they've been rolling near-maximum damage each time (along with a decent ability modifier).

I don't have the books with me but I think the spearcasters have an ability where they do an extra d6 if they move 4 squares from their starting position... but yeah, they're getting pretty good rolls.

Yes, they are getting good rolls. Remember that with creatures getting their full modifier for attacks now (such as crossbows) it increases damage a lot. Only one of you has used your Second Wind and none have used Action Points. Remember that action points are daily now.

Also remember that everything has more HP than they did before. The one-hit-kill creatures don't exist beyond minions.

If you have an action that is going to be "If x happens" go ahead and write out what he would do in a SECRET. That way I can put it up in case the next person's turn is up and they log on before you.

Say what? Action points are daily? Where does that come from? I just looked at the WotC updates dated 8/11 and don't see anything about that.

Yep, the actual term they use now is "extended rest". You lose all milestone action points but get your 1 back. PHB p259.

After an extended rest you lose all previously earned APs and gain a new one, but per page 286 of the PHB, you can use one per encounter. You can earn a new one with each milestone, which I seem to recall is typically every couple combats, assuming average difficulty.

A couple of observations on your latest update. It looks like Bronin disappeared from your map, and in the initiative list you have a B after Dayereth, but as far as I can tell he hasn't taken any damage.

Good lord. You realize that you're subjecting yourself to, by my figuring, 6 opportunity attacks at +6 vs AC, right?
