I would say that while you would be able to identify those of your own faction, you would not know of others. Furthermore... you wouldn't even technically know that they are even IN factions. The Pathfinder Society in-game is actually mostly NOT made up of faction members... it's just that you guys happen to be in on the big political underbelly.

On profession skills, by RAW it's fairly loose. The way I treat it is simple: if you think it might be related, give it a go. I'll generally go with the flow if I find it logical enough. The same goes for ANY skill check, really. I always like rewarding creativity.

Probably depends on how outspoken that person wants to be about.

Despite his temperament, Orrik is pretty proud to be Qadiran, so he won't hide the fact. Since most of these modules involve at least a short time where small-talk would occur before the beginning, I usually assume such matters have already been addressed.

Most likely, unless you've actually chosen to avoid ever having a conversation with him, you'd know he's Qadiran. I need to figure out his actual geographic origin, but I'm working on compiling the PFS stuff first.

Profession (superhero) can replace Disguise checks meant to make you look like a total loser. However, the DC for identifying your real persona is double.

Hehe, it occurs to me that does make it sort of an anomaly that you always wind up with 4-to-6 guys from multiple opposing factions. I suppose it makes sense if the missions are high profile, though.

Anyway, as regards faction stuff, Edur's Andoran as much by fortune as by choice; he's not particularly secretive* about it, but he doesn't display it proudly either. If it hasn't come up in the trip before now, it will when he's chased out of town by the guard.
*(Though he does have to be a bit secretive this particular time, so yeah.)

Yeah, it's a little strange I suppose. But I figure that you're probably right--these are the important and/or high profile missions. Many Pathfinders are more like freelancers rather than strike forces. So people high up in the eschelons of society "recommend" your presence in a mission... etc.

Don't worry about it, Tanuki, trying to do DND when you're sick sucks, I know. I've been busy with planning/running a session, an internship, and studying for a few exams(Programming Languages makes me cry), so that's why I haven't posted in the past few days or gotten around to a character concept for your Legacy of Fire campaign.

Okay, I have a request for you players. I have 3 people that want to start a game, but 3 is way too small a group. If anyone is feeling particularly productive or active, I'm considering getting 1 or 2 people who are already in a game to join in on ANOTHER game with these 3 people. Seeing as you're all level 1 and not about to level up it shouldn't be too much of an issue, I think.

Anyone interested? The group is currently a cleric and two rogues, so someone a little tankish wouldn't go astray.

After these first games I'll just have three groups of 5, I think. I apologise to Embrodak, weredragon and Helio for the long wait!

Oh that's also a point. You can also make a 2nd character and play there too. I was thinking of just using your current character, but a 2nd char works fine as well.
