Sorry, I need to get used to using the Pathfinder SRD and not my old beta pdf. ![]()

Don't sweat it! I still think in terms of Beta or 3.5e a lot. You just get used to some things.
I've gotten used to the rules because I do a lot of conversion work on d20pfsrd, so that involves checking and re-checking every rule I reference. Incidentally... please don't go poking about the "Fan Conversions" section of that site. There are spoilers, and there are many of them, and I wrote them myself (sort of), so I'd appreciate it if you didn't go look at how the beasties in the AP are going to kick your butts. ![]()

Heh, I'll avoid that area. Spoilers make me sad.
However, beasties beware my non-magical Beta Longsword! It has no special properties other than looking really old, but it is fearsome indeed. No amount of conversion can save them from the power of my obsolete weaponry! ![]()

Hello all! Tanuki, I'll be safe running Council of Thieves, given that was (is being) written for Pathfinder already. I look forward to playing; I considered running RotRL myself but wanted the nice books as well as the pdfs, and there's a huge money saving on the subscription. Mmm.
I may have to change my tagline to involve the phrase "Paizo fanboy".

Good luck getting RotRL in print; half the books are out of print already... I was lucky enough to pick up Burnt Offerings in hard copy at GenConOz this year for a not obscene price, though!
![]() If you go "Paizo fanboy" that would make me "Paizo fangirl" to match. ![]()

Hello all.
I'm very much looking forward to this game. Pathfinder is my favorite RPG. Rise of the Runelords is my favorite AP. Tanuki is my favorite DM. If I weren't so tired, I'd "woot." Just know that I'm "woot"ing in my heart. Look forward to playing with all of you.

Everyone more or less has their character sheets done now, so I'll be working on getting the game thread up ASAP!

Tanuki, could we have a thread to post our general character information in for the rest of the group's benefit? That is, assuming you don't want everything to be private.

Bleh, I hate my first post.
![]() I had a job interview at 8 in the morning (got up at 5 for it) and then continuous activity until almost midnight, and thats the point I started writing it at. After endless editing and reformulation, I got to the point where I couldn't tell if I was doing more damage or good, or if it was even making sense. You know, the old "sleep deprived brain doesn't know what its writing anymore" syndrome. It might be brilliant, but its probably drivel. But, I shall tackle it in the morning and see what it looks like through the lens of sanity, I just wanted to go ahead and post what I had.

I swear to god I'm not going to post this much every time. I got a little carried away.

Forget health checks my druid is going to cast talk to animals and counsel the poor butterfly on the post traumatic trauma it must be feeling after such a brutal event. I'm sure we will both cry some and then hopefully the butterfly will be able to realize that even with one wing, he might not be able to fly, but he's still beautiful on the inside...

If a butterfly loses a hitpoint and there's no-one around to see, does it die?
Arkann's likely to turn to the audience and say "You've got to really believe in fairies!" Also, I saw the thread title - The Rusty Dragon - with Chrystrom's name below it, and read "The Crusty Dragon".
