I'm not sure that's open information. The disadvantage of a healing belt is that it takes the belt slot (obviously) if you're not boosting a physical attribute there's no problem, but if you are planning to boost a physical attribute they compete for the same space.

If MIC is being used there are a few decent healing things.

Amulet of Retributive Healing: pg 69 MIC, allows you to heals yourself the same amount that you heal someone else.
Armband of Maximized Healing: pg 72 MIC: Does what it says.
Healing Belt: pg 110 MIC, Heals anyone a fair bit, and is quite cheap.
Ring of Mystic Healing: pg 126 MIC, add extra healing to cure spells.

Thanks, the amulet of retributive healing is just what the doctor ordered. I'm primarily concerned that everyone should have some manner of healing on their turn, just in case the worst should happen. Especially since we're going to be 1 person over the limit for my character's collective. At least until next level.

I forgot to mention....this world has the feel of the Sword of Shanara book series where the past world....our world....is gone and replaced by magic and monsters.

Anyone else feel like they're loaded for bear after going through basic equipment. Spent nearly 1,500 on non-magical goods. No idea how all that stuff is going to fit in a backpack. Probably not very well.

If you have the funds, a hewards handy haversack could probably fit it all.

I'm not very strict on how much is in a handy haversack or bag of holding, as long as it isn't too ridiculous and can fit in the opening.

As for role playing, I think that we are ready. Everyone that is new will end up crowded onto the same lift.

Remember that:

• Colorado Springs: Is a completely underground city, with 'fake' buildings up top. (A few stragglers may lift up top, but that is considered worse than slums and they risk death daily)
• Colorado Springs is one mile beneath the surface.
• The Lift to the surface is a large metal plate moved by a vertical beam of force (similar to Eberron/Sharn docks)
• The surface "city" has mostly empty buildings, but they do contain weapons for the guards up top.
• The Lift opens on the surface level inside a building with guards.
• The adventurers you are trying to join are in the process of leaving...you are (almost) too late.

In your 'introduction' post:

• Give a good physical description of yourself.
• Describe a bit before you made it to the Lift, as well as on the lift.
• Describe why you are late...was it because you were packing, was it a last minute decision to join, was it that you got lost, etc. Your character doesn't need to say it, just describe - IC'ly the others will not likely know.
• Feel free to describe what you do when it reaches the top too. Regardless, I will be pushing any RP on the Lift quickly to have everyone join.

Lets have some fun and get this going again....oh, at some point soon you may want to ask Allen what the actual mission IS.

Are you going to do any lead in post, or should which just start posting the lift scene in the Book 1 chapter 3 section?

An introductory post would really help get into what's going on, especially since the group seems to have already rode the lift up and left. Is that being retconned?

That is not being ret-conned - you will be catching up to them. I will write a post in each of your thread with a connection to where you will post in the main thread. That should be up shortly.

Some have, but some haven't....but please post in your private thread the specific reason you are joining the party leaving.
