Adventure Rewards

I'm planning on running a D&D 5e game, and I have the in-universe rewards (i.e. treasure) planned out, but I'm a bit worried if it's an appropriate amount.

Any advice on how to tell when a treasure reward is too much or too little?

Do you have more specifics?

Mainly:

Level range of adventure?
Power level of the world?
Power level of the opposition?
Group composition?

The more info we have the more specific the advice can be



As for general info, toss lots of consumables at them.
If you get the balance wrong, meh, they can only use it once. Just make sure to keep them flowing so they don't horde them.
