Post of the Year (2017) Winner!
That's darn near impossible, of course. Selecting the best from the best is never easy, but finally a consensus was reached. Please join the judges in congratulating our Post of the Year winner for 2017 - Eleven Sided Die! You can read Eleven's winning post here. In the post, Eleven wrote of his of his PC Ameya. Ameya is young girl with a traumatic past making a living as a harrow card reader in the slums of Korvosa. Eleven Sided Die took a chance, and did an actual card reading prior to writing and used that as a basis for this post. Read along, and see how Eleven Sided Die managed not only to make something as trivial as flipping cards on a carpet into an interesting read, but turned it into a bit of insight into who Ameya is and what drives her. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to nominate posts for this year, and of course thanks to everyone who wrote those wonderful posts. We're accepting entries now for the January Post of the Month contest, so if you want to be in the running for the 2018 Post of the Year award, get your nominations in now. And, if you'd like to get involved with the POTM contest, you can do so in two ways. One, be sure to nominate your favorite writer and post each month, so that we keep the judges busy. And if you'd like to do a bit more, there's always work behind-the-scenes to do, and we are looking for volunteers. Contact Dirkoth if you'd like to do (and know) more!
