Looking for Games of Various Systems
Posting Ability: I live in US Central time and am most active in the afternoons. However, my post rate and timing vary based upon needs, so I do tend to be relatively flexible. Shameless Self-Promotion: I am not new to PbP and have played a small variety of systems. I can learn a system quickly. My characters tend to be built around optimizing for a theme but trying to avoid breaking the game. My preference tends to be a bit more roleplay than rollplay as my most played systems tend to have clunky and/or tedious combat. (DnD comes to mind. Once it hits 4th round, combats tend to break down and get tedious from my experience) I have played both sides of the table for more than one edition and system. Note Regarding Writing Sample: As much as I would like to pop in a good sample, I would prefer to provide one tailored to the stylistic preference of the game. For example, I normally write in third person paragraph formatting, but I have had people prefer first person or even action based. I come from a heavy academic writing background, so I am always a bit offput by creating a static example when I am flexible enough to fit differing styles. So, if you want me to give an example, feel free to slide into my DMs and give me a style preference. I will create a sample for you. Systems/Caveats: In general, I have the most experience in PF 1e, DnD 3.5, DnD 4e, DnD 5e, and Anime 5e. However, I have played Shadowrun (more than one edition), WoD and similar settings, and even weird ones like Maid RPG (One shot and found out I apparently make a good maid) and Monsterhearts. I am happy to in general play most systems, but I have a few caveats. I do not like GURPS. No shade to anyone who does, but it simply does not jive well with me for some reason. In DnD, my favorite setting is Athas (Dark Sun) but I do not like Grim Hollow. (it handles warlock pacts and a lot of extraplanar stuff in ways I have not had good experiences with) For games like Shadowrun, I tend to be more trenchcoat than pink mohawk. I also am not going to be happy in a dungeon crawler. I like to develop a character. My silly meter is quite forgiving. I like to have humor mixed into even serious games.

Check out games seeking players. And of course New player solo games.
You might find something worth trying.

I am doing both. I figured I should provide both at this point just to cast a moderately wide net. I am far from new here. I've been around for years but was on hiatus for a while.
