.. and as first random post, I'd like to say that I've got a lot of excitement about this game. Still a lot to define, but there's enough source material from eberron to pull from that the world is shaping up very well in my mind.
Partially the player's fault, but I keep getting a Battlechaser vibe to the game... especially the bit where Red Monica and team break into the prison by airship and sky mantis.
A lot of the technical bits are still being sorted out, like the lack of significant bodies of water forcing all marine life to basically be converted to aerial creatures, and thus it's reasonable for large nets to be strung up along tall towers to catch flying fish and whatnot... air whales, the threat of skysharks snatching people off the face of the continent ... feels pretty crazy.
further, with no large body of water, "normal looking" boats are more throw-backs to pre-sundering, and certainly antiques.
no large bodies of water means no significant water sources aside from the few rivers that exist on larger continents.. there's a lot of drainage. So I'm figuring it rains a lot, and that water reservoirs are very common, as well as natural targets in a community, but greenery will be lush and fruits, grains and roots will be in abundance along with a lot of wood.

I'm stewing on other ideas, like no gravity beyond a continental cluster like Khorvaire, so the unique Gravity Plane of SJ ships remain relevant for existing ship designs... which would add a buffer to anyone falling overboard from just dying immediately... which sounds like good game design, so that's going to stick as well..
but that implies that there is a reverse side to the continents, but the rock extends for /miles/ under the top habitated bit... no one has any news of ever going /under/ a continent. It extends too far into the Mourn below to have any successful expedition to legitimately claim to have travelled under any large land mass.. so if the gravity does "flip"somewhere, it is somewhere so deep inside that it's simply inaccessible. The mourn actually drifts into Ether after too long.. so technically there might not BE a "bottom" since the ether just... drifts.. into forever... lol so you could theoretically fall off Thrane into the mourn, off into the Ether, straight to hell without technically ever dying... same for heavens really, but the point is the same.
in the Ether there is technically no up or down, since everyone can "fly" like in the astral... ground vs ether wisping is sort of subjective to the traveller.

Ok folks, looking to the future, I'm a little stuck. Zor doesn't have a whole lot of options in continuing advancement. Two levels worth of EWP feats, maybe a few more Warblade levels for manuevers, Barbarian for some rage... but no wow factor items. Anyone have any suggestions on things I might have overlooked?

By the way, everyone should have ALL good saves by the second full class you take, since you get to custom pick which 2 saves are good vs 1 bad, second class simply pick your first bad save.

Are we using anything along the lines of traits/flaws from Unearthed Arcana or traits from Pathfinder?

Yeah, hurler would be pretty awesome. I saw that when polishing up my build, and I thought of Zor. You could also look at Master Thrower.

Dirk's character is a Necromancer. Not working anything fancy on that part, just 6 levels of Wizard for the spells. All the rest of my build is for staying out of combat, mostly.

And, the layout is started, I believe. Not sure about swiftblade yet. Great for staying out of combat, not sure it fits thematically. we'll see.

Master of the Shrouds might be pretty sweet for you. Not a horde of undead following you but you can call them when you need support!

Something like:

Wizard 6
Cleric 1
Monk 2
Shadowdancer 2
Master of Shrouds 6
True Necromancer 4

There are also a few feats: Academic Priest (Int instead of Wis for divine spells) and Kung Fu Genius (Int instead of Wis for Monk abilities) that would make you completely SAD ... and happy!

Could we get a thread with the links to everything we might need to use, in one place?

Trailblazer SRD or OGC, or to the "pretty close" posting of the rules. Starting rules. Gold. Magic. etc..

I keep needing to go all over searching for feat progression, character stats, starting scores, etc., through the ad thread, here, there, everywhere... would be nice to have them all in one spot.

maybe another folder with cut/paste of everything. I know I've had to alter my sheet a couple of times for missing things.

it's funny that master of shrouds requires specializing on conjuration, and not necromancy.

That aside, it fits kind of thematically, so I am looking into it.

I'd ask Fil about the requirements, it also requires augmented summoning.... which you only get 1/2 use of since undead don't have a Con score to modify and all of the incorporeal undead you gain as summons don't benefit from the strength portion either.

Standard Corpsecrafter or reflavored to dexterity instead of strength would be much better suited, and of course Spell Focus: Necromancy to replace Conjuration.

or

Necromantic Presence and Necromantic Might.
