I've been running ideas through my head and can't seem to find one that I like more than Zor. I even managed to find the Pugilist Fighter / Warforged Juggernaut combo for immunity to damage... but that's about all he does then.

I was very interested in a 'Lockdown' build, unfortunately most of the feats have extremely high bab requirements (IE Defensive Sweep and Robilar's gambit from PHB II)

He seems like a neat build right now, as long as you'll have fun with him outside of combat with his low Int and Cha scores. Maybe give him a hobby like watercoloring, lol.

I guess the point of E6 is to limit builds somewhat. We just have to work within our limits.

The purpose of E6 is to not become immune to damage.

You might want to check out the new Combat Reflexes feat. It has changed slightly, and that might interfere with your plans. I'm not exactly sure what Improved Combat Reflexes does, but Fil may need to tweak it as a result.

Hmm.. pretty much limits me to 3 AOO regardless of my dex. I guess that just allows me to drop to Dex 14 and put those points elsewhere.

Worth restating: AoO's are resolved during the opportunist's action at some point after the target has finished their turn... so a lockdown build won't perform as it would on the table top in real time.

If I have a PBP character that wants to use AoO, then I go ahead and roll safety attacks. You could roll three attacks and have the DM try to apply them. As a DM, I'll occasionally just roll a AoO for my players in PBP, too.

It is sort of complex in PBP. I've done two high level games here... The first one, my character had a lot of immediate actions and AoO. My next one was a standard action warlock.

And additional questions: I see "capstone feats" mentioned a couple times, but haven't had time to dive into the details, so anyone wanna give me a quickie answer here?
Are those abilities/feats that come with completing six levels in a class, or are they a feat that you can CHOOSE at your sixth level if you complete a class (ie, free or cost your sixth level feat)?
Second, if you do more than one class to six levels, do you get both capstones? (depends on answer to other question, of course).

The +1 is to caster level for effects like duration, # affected, Dispel DC... but it doesn't give a +1 DC to saving throws.

the e6 3.5 wiki details those that exist in the feats section... they are feats taken that unlock certain aspects of being as though you were say, level 8 or 9...
such as, you can cast 1 specific 4th level spell per day if you have +6BMB
these sort of open a path to making up "power up" sort of feats, like take a PrC to 6th level and maybe unlock a capstone ability that is the class's 7th or 8th level class ability.
we can also burn feats to get extra uses of class abilities per day, or anything that isn't already accessed directly through a class level purchase.
