Yes, treat them exactly like regular lightsabers, except that they do stun damage. The rules for stunning are on pg 162 of the core rulebook, but as a quick summary: Weapons set to stun deal half damage; if the damage reduces a target to 0 hp, they move immediately to -5 on the condition track and fall unconscious; if the the stun damage (before being halved) equals of exceed the target's damage threshold, they move -2 steps down the condition track instead of just one; and stun damage is incapable of killing a person.

@Geo - Lightsabers do 2d8, not 1d8, and all characters gets a bonus to damage rolls equal to half their level.

I know, right?! The player really wants to lightsaber those dudes in the face, but the character knows that discretion is the better part of valour. How tedious. Maybe his buddies can talk him into lightsaber mode.

Based on those rolls, the full extent I got of Anazider's bluffing came down to "I'm making up all these lies, but I'm super famous. Lemmie go, please?"
