I think it would be more accurate to show the squares count by ROUND, not date. Technically, in the game, its only into the second MINUTE of the firefighting.

But the date is the actual date. We've been fighting this fire for three months of real time, and there are still 10 squares left.

Fabulous guys. Now for a little metagaming. Two volunters side by side at the window and two throwing buckets then the other 2-3 filling the spaces between. This should put our fire out pretty damn quick.
