Hmmm... I've never played w/ Enlarge qualifying the PC as a "large" creature. That would tend to make the spell rather worthless. May want to ask our DM how he'd rule on this.

Conjure Animals + Animal Growth is enough of a reason to play a druid. Two 24 hd elephants with 5 attacks each at your disposal. Not to mention if you further enlarge them.

While I'm working on things, is there a definite way to determine how many spells we generate at 6th level for a new character? I don't think I've seen that for a 2nd edition character, so I have no idea how many spells to add to my spellbook. Conveniently, I downloaded an app on my phone that's quick reference, so I don't have to fly around the PHB.

I swear, there's good money in making a 2nd edition archive like the SRD 3.x, PF, and other d20 games have.

Excellent! Thank you. Searching this thread is like finding a needle in a stack of kittens. Which begs the question: who threw the needle in a stack of kittens, and why are the kittens still in a stack?

More to the point, a few points about the Witch kit: I get bonus spells, which shouldn't be an issue. As for magic items, the kit grants 1500GP specifically for magic items for the Witch (which she doesn't get to keep, but gets to spend as much of that 1500 as possible). How will that work in contrast with the stated free mundane, limited magic item list?

EDIT: Also, familiar. Secure Familiar is one of those bonus spells, and I want one. Anyone opposed to a raven or cat, potentially undead?

Erik had access via minor sphere, but really only for personal use for now since the duration of the spell is so short. Also he doesn't have enough 3rd level casting to merit memorization of the 10' radius one.
