Oh, well that takes a load off my mind. Now, I am debating between studded leather and chainmail. I do like to be true to my pictures but I know the rangers get some extra features if they wear studded leather or lighter. If I am going to be more of a straightforward fighter style, is the extra features worth the lighter armor?

lol...nice thing is, unlike other editions, it's pretty much the only math!! No need for 57 books and 23 formulas and unless you get into kits etcbonuses and advantages and disadvantages etc Though it is a bit limited too in those regards, but nice thing, the best thing, it promotes role play rather than roll play! *happy dances*

Oh snap! Got to looking over bookshelves and wouldn't you know I found a 2e phb!! Hmm, l do not recall ever having it. Well how many versions are there? If memory serves me correctly, there's just one 2e right? Hmm, no kits in it, but no matter if everything else is not outdated.

I have a +1 greatsword for my +1 item but I am not sure how that works with this system...is that even feasible?

Yup there was only one PHB so the info in there is fine.

A +1 item reduces your Thac0 by 1 rather than affecting your roll, so it’s fine.

I'm going to use Grey Elf stats so +2 bonus to Intelligence and a +1 to Dexterity –2 to Constitution and a –1 to Strength.
