I'm going to wait a few more days to post. The two people who I knew would be with Annie have posted, but neither folks in the 'other' scene are in yet (or, they have not mentioned they intend to skip), and I'm still not sure where we plan on sorting Brassa.
@Elanir, yes, your 'investigate' roll will turn up useful info, but I was planning on sharing it in my next 'full' update.

I've been happily following along for now. I was actually considering having Brassa Hit the Streets to find Cassandra and with Anne considering that as well it might be a possible path of convergence, maybe a small scene after this one.
Either way I'm okay with her being absent for now since it feels most natural. |

@jbear: apologies, I think I misunderstood and/or mixed up what 'timing' folk were asking about. Your 'solution' is totally acceptable, as a way of letting the villian conveniently slip away and setting up the drama with your mama.
@Vis: got it, thanks for the heads up. I certainly don't want you excluded from the scene. I'd still lik eto find a way to pull you in, but if you're more comfortable sitting out a wave or two of posts, then I can roll with that. @all: I just need to take a major L here. I completely botched the setup of this scene. I wanted to throw us directly into the point in the narrative that provided uncertainty and action. A "hard move" or two as the book calls it. But in first asserting the scene and then afterwards telling you to sort yourselves out, I totally undermined the set-up. I should have trusted everyone to discuss the framing OOC before I started the scene, and/or I should have waited longer to have a full discussion about where we wanted to move next. I think the only thing for it is to move forward with what we've got. I'll get a post up in the next few hours. But I am concerned that, lacking inclusion of Cole, Brassa, and Farhad, I've come close to killing the game at a stroke.

My plan is to get a post up tonight. It should give @Elanir something interesting to gnaw on
But... I suppose we should also discuss how to proceed. For what it is worth, I liked the attempt Wyn. It seemed like an interesting way to create some immediate interactivity with PC autonomy. I don't think we should overly fret that it didn't work - heck, my "good" ideas fail more often than they succeed - but focus more on the pivot. I think we can pull both scenes back together to some extent if desired. The forthcoming Fae revelation should pull Brassa back in and then it is just a matter of running into Farhad (who is already in the hospital) and making him too curious to depart. That curiosity could even manifest as him snooping around rather than overtly "joining up" with everyone, or however wodine wants to play it. So, options abound! All Wyn did was provide the rich platter of yummy choices, we just have to dive in until we get a stomachache ![]()

@jbear: can you remind me please... 1) is Andre's mother aware of his condition, and 2) has she ever seen him in his full wolf form? Edit Tues morn: I don't want to delay posting any further. I believe that the last paragraph of your write-up (quoted beneath the spoiler below) implies that she is aware of your curse, and so would not find your appearence troubling. If I'm wrong, I can edit later.
@all: I'm probably not going to have time to get something up today, but the update will come either tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest.

Yes, I believe she is aware of his condition and is troubled by it so you were bang on with that conclusion.

@Wyn - I think this is going to be painted as an "info" gathering Hit the Streets, but we can tweak as needed. What Victor really wants is to figure out how to deal with Annie without hurting the real girl. So de-possessing, or whatever.

I am waiting on a Fahrad reaction and hopefully info share so that Andre does not need to react in ignorance.

As a quick FYI, I’ve got a few landmark events (wrapping teaching for my school year; eldest daughter’s prom!!) in the next few days, and then I have a hectic weekend of travel and more family stuff.
Which I mention to potentially ease jbear’s feeling of obligation: whether Andre’s post goes up tonight or three days from now, I won’t be able to post until early next work week. So that can take time if desired. Apologies for my delay.

Quick follow-up: I've got my outline and the start of my post, but I'm going to need until tomorrow to sufficiently organize and present my thoughts. Just wanted to mention that I haven't forgotten the game, and I'm working on it. Depending on how you interpretted "early next work week" it may seem a little delayed, but it's in process and more or less on the timetable I planned. Should be no more than another day.
I don't know if it's good or bad that these posts take me about three hours to assemble, but it is what it is at this point, so your forbearence is much appreciated.
