Ok, my misunderstanding then. If just giving them the pistol instead of the rifle is fine with everyone, then I can make a small edit. In that case, my post can play out as it exists - the squatters taking Victor’s gun can still result in a debt, but they’d still want something more from you, if you want them to provide more support than that.
If one of you rejects that (Victor unwilling to give up his pistol or Farhad demanding more assistance than what’s in the post currently without you guys giving anything more in exchange) then I’ll need to overhaul my post more substantially. That would require, afterwards, more flexing on your part (good rolls or use of powers) for things to go in your favor.

Farhad does not wish to dally, he simply thought this could be a useful ace up their sleeve.

@Wynamoinen: Does Vasili ‘hide’ somewhere behind the heavy door or should we that is my understandinghead further along the tunnel?

Vasili was not among the 4 patrol members that you encountered just now. Anne's recollection and Andre's nose both suggest that you must travel further along the corridor; the (most straightforward) path is not through that side door the patrol fled into.

Are there any obvious authority figures among the crowd? Guards/police equivalents or otherwise.

Yes, definitely. In 1s and 2s you can see people like the patrol you encountered. That is, visibly armed, plainclothesed and clearly watching what’s going on around them as they slowly stroll. Not a ton of them, but the kind of presence you’d expect from police on a busy weekend downtown or at a large gathering like a carnival or weekend market.
No Missionaries anywhere though.

Rereading the description of the Wolf in the rulebook, I see that I missed a section called 'Wolf Moves'.
Pretty important oversight on my part. Bloodhound seems to be what I should have been using to find Vasili all this while. Comes with the territory wouldn't have come into play as I havent really been patrolling my territory at session starts. That's usually how I fade Andre from a scene rather than fade him in so to speak. I am meant to choose another power as well. I think I would go with Reckless, and provide 1 armour to every one in the group when I jump into a situation without hedging my bets. Which brings me to a salient point: is evesdropping 'hedging my bets'? If I want to activate Reckless, would I have to climb the stairs and kickdown the doors essentially? If so I would edit my post to reflect that. Though the affected part of my post entirely hinges on the guards reaction to the Dragonfear. Also, if I take one of the extra options from my last let it out roll, and mark corruption, I believe I will have filled 'the corruption bar'. So then I would choose a corruption move? Would Sun and Moon counteract in any way my 'long painful transformation' or would it just be a long painful transformation that I could do whenever I wanted? If the latter is the case then I think I might choos a different option.

I'll obviously wait until my GM update to resolve Farhad's move. But in this system, the moves give players a lot of narrative control, so as long as what you write is consistent with "an opportunity being created" and "confused" guards, you should be good. These guys aren't going to be pushovers, so don't assume that you can roflstomp them all or just run past unresisted. Wodine might also want to check in/constent if you're using his "opportunity". Re: Sun and Moon. Here's my thought process, tell me what you think. I understand your 'condition' to be that you can't resist the nightly change, and it's long and painful. Very much a curse. Sun and Moon just says "you can transform into wolf form whenever, at the cost of corruption." So, why not always, one second before sundown, just say "I transform instantly," thereby curcumventing the delay and pain? That would neturalize the transformation drawback, true, but at the cost of corruption! That seems like a reasonable tradeoff to me: Sun and Moon is instant and allows you to avoid the delay, but at the cost of corruption. That's a choice you're going have to make literally every day! It could rack up corruption quite fast. I think that's dramatic and interesting. I'm fine with that interpretation if you are. Interesting that the move doesn't mention transforming back OUT of wolf form...

Sorry for my delay. It wasn't really a time problem ... I was just trying to come up with something better to add than sort of another 'Victor is ready to shoot his gun when needed' post, but I didn't come up with anything useful ...

And now I'll apologize for my delay. I'm teaching two intensive summer courses, and it just has me completely burned out. To the point where I ponder just cutting bait entirely on long form gaming.
That feeling should pass, but the delay is already here to stay. I'm going to do my best to get something up today, but please forgive, if it takes me another day or two. I'm going to publicly state Friday as my hard backstop day - if I can't get something up by then, then the shame will overwhem me ![]()

Hi all, I bring bad news. I am stepping away from the site, indefinitely. There is a confluence of dramas and stressors, on site and off. Walking away the right thing for me to do right now, for almost everyone involved.
There is one group of people by whom I am doing wrong: you all. I'm very sorry for that. Thank you for being part of the game. It's honestly the only thing that's kept me on site for the better part of a year. I know the system is not always comfortable, and I'm not going to claim I always had the most compelling scenarios and interactions lined up. But in the time we had, we built a collaborative story and a world, and I enjoyed the time we had.
