Out of interest how exactly does my dimension walk works.
Like i go to another dimension that much i understand, but say i walk around in that dimension and am in a separate place from where I entered, do then come back to this dimension in a different area or where i travelled from ?
Never done it before so just interested.

Weasel Whisperer: Chioni will be gone for about fifteen minutes to visit with her parents. Does anything happen during this time or can I RP her return?

Nothing happens. I'll be able to do more tomorrow.

Is there any good reason why, once Chioni returns, we can't just teleport to a good Inn for the night? Sleep in real beds, eat good food, then teleport back to the same spot we left in the morning?

Less chance of being attacked by horrific monsters in our sleep that way too.

It costs Chioni 23 spell points per casting and it only affects one person at a time. Due to the failed first casting, her little jaunt to visit her parents cost her 69 spell points. Mass Ice Crystal Teleport is a 9th level spell, so we've got a while before that's a viable option.

Meldrania is a spellcaster too, remember? She also has Teleport prepared and can take along four people with her, with a range of 1200 miles.

You can try it, but things may get complicated.

The 'things might get complicated' is why she didn't just teleport out of the seiged city. But if Chioni can do it..?

OOC-ly, would you prefer I just not do that? Do you want us to stay in the dungeon so long as we intend to actually do it?

You are free to teleport to Romil and rest in an inn or where you like. Afterwards, we can explore the consequences. It may be beneficial to get some culture since many of your characters are from Romil or lived there.

Moridain: Just RP it if you'd like to do the teleport option. Chioni's got enough juice for six castings tonight. However, realize that if we roll 98-100 for any of our targets, they appear in a random place and are kind of in big trouble.

I should be able to take everyone, including Chioni, in a single casting. Meldrania spent a lot of time traveling around Romil on missions so having intimate knowledge of a few inns isn't a stretch at all.

She will spend ten minutes studying this spot so she can return then should be able to port everyone to the inn at teh same time.

I will RP it, but not right now. Brain is goo right now...

I can put Ornlu or Titus into my armor, effectively decreasing one of the maximum number, but I'm not sure Aysira will want to leave. She's found quite a pretty thing here, and would prefer it more than just a little over an inn.

Well, I don't want to split the group... We could use survival supplies and we have no guarantee that we will be ABLE to teleport out once we get further in, so perhaps a short pop over with those who want it, we grab whatever we need from the stores (tends, food, potions and the like), then we pop back again?

Meldrania can cast the spell multiple times so load isn't a big issue.

Just remember what time it is in Romil. You may find an inn to give you rooms, but stores will be closed until dawn.
