Things may get nasty: rolled a perception check for each dhargoth and they were: 24, 15, and 29. The 29 was also a natural 20, so they are about to get mad, but keep in mind that they still need you if they ever want the tapestry. You are all artifact wielders, so you should still be in control of the situation as they know those artifacts will hurt.

Nice diplomacy roll, but while Meldrania had been reserving judgement it would have taken something truly extreme to have her accept to assist them from the start.

Think 'We know the one and only possible way into the temple of X, wherin an army of angels is being kept imprisoned. If they are not released within days they will be corrupted and sent to work for the Grey Prince. Also, failure to save them will also lead to a million adorable puppies being killed.'

That might have been enough to make her consider a limited alliance...

I hope everything is going well with the tornado relief project, Weasel!

I'm back, and everything went pretty well. I helped a lot of people and restored some of what was taken. The tornado started half a mile from my house, so I felt very driven to help as it could have been me that was killed or made homeless. Hope everyone else is well.

Its good of you to do so much good, and I am glad it didn't get any closer to you than it did. Even half a mile is way too close for comfort...

I live in an area so prone to earthquakes that we just ignore them 99% of the time (if they are less than magnitude 6 they usually aren't even worth a break in conversation), so I know about how horrific natural disasters can be.

It definitely feels good to be back and I have some good memories despite the horror I saw. Earthquakes are so rare where I live that the news covers 3.8 quakes. Ours have less to do with tectonic activity and more to do with questionable mining practices.
