Every building in our city has strict building codes toward earthquake damage prevention so I have never actually heard of a house being damaged due to even the worst earthquake. At least not in the last few decades.

And I guess people get used to anything, with enough exposure.

Tornados for example scare the pants off me. We don't get them here and I know enough of them to be horrified at what you went throuh. ^_^"
