Oh, I will add a couple more.. -If you get leadership, the Cohort is a PC class, the Followers are NPCs. -All (non-magical) equipment for your armed forces is 1/2 cost for start up, to represent the King getting you good deals to arm your troops. So it makes you capable of buying a thousand troops somewhat decent stuff. (Chainmail is 75gp/piece rather than 150/gp, Longbows are 37 gp, 5 sp instead of 75 gp.) Makes a big difference if you're equipping hundreds of people.

I may or may not have went cheap on my militia to fund a small, elite force of PC class characters. Or not. Who knows?

I have asked someone to join us, but I haven't heard from Griskard for a long time. He just kind of vanished. If he is back on site, I may reach out to him if the person I already reached out to does not reply.

So how are you thinking about handling the land for the new player(s)? Are they just going to get one of the preexisting land spots? I ask because you mentioned something about needing to draw a new map.

Yeah if we get the other player the land will stay the way it is with the new players taking over. If we do not we will get a new map.

Then I really hope we get the other player, or at least when we get a new map, I get more or less the same land since my district is pretty much build around it.

Statesman, you will be taking over District 4, on the map. Athena, you will be taking over District 8.
You can shape them in anyway you see fit, but I will say that the land in 4 would be good for food production as well, 8 wouldn't have as much fertile land, but would have some other natural resources, such as the mountains in the southwest. You can use small tokens on the map to represent your cities and facilities as the others have already done. We still have a couple weeks for you both to build up your districts, the guidelines for building your district are laid out a few posts back. Thanks again for re-posting that information ![]()

I'll try to create strengths for my district based on what everyone else has created. I'll definitely have at least one university, since my character was a headmistress before she was governor.

My district is coming together. Its main industries are land trade, education, and magic. It's also got a lot of farmland, a number of horses, a fair number of artisans, and some bronze and brass (smelted by our native dwarves from copper, tin, and zinc).

Humble Athena, let me know if you have questions about setting up your district.
The good news for everyone is that I may be a stay at home dad soon (I would start college in the fall) and I will have nap time in addition to the evening to write posts. It all hinges on my wife getting good paying work for the certificate that she just earned at college. If she isn't able to find work I will remain in my job ![]() Thank you for getting all that work done so quickly Statesman. I will review it soon and assign you an income.
