The Trial

Kat sighs "We cant help you with meeting her, its a long story. Were you a student of the Professor? or a friend of his?"

Keeshraal "You knew the Professor? I just returned from an errand he sent me on."

Kat sighs "We knew him, he was most likely murdered by members of a secretive cult like group, known as the whispering way, while he was investigating the old prison outside of town. We have been looking into it as much as we can, while helping his daughter move here and take care of some things for her."

Keeshraal "I would like to help find his killers."

Kat nods, "So do we, for now, we are at a dead end, we agreed to do some research for the upcoming trial of a, creature or golem, to ensure that he gets a fair trial, your welcome to join us while we wait for something to come up that sends us on another quest."

Keeshraal "I have no where else to go." The catfolk follows his new companions.

Kat and Cronus want to try to meet "The Beast" to get some idea about his awareness or lack there of whats happening to him his intelligence etc

Who do you ask to get permission to see the Beast?

We go to the City Jail or prison and ask who ever is in charge?

[Anodyzed]

To save you some wheel spinning, IF you ask the court clerk (where you all are right now, right?), he'll tell you the Beast is in a cell in the basement of the courthouse, but to see him you'll need permission from his attorney. The clerk will give you that court-appointed attorney's name and address.

Chemistry arrives late at the courthouse, having slept way too late. She goes looking for the others and joins them as they try to talk to the Beast.

Kat will take notes and share it with the others"Hey, Chemistry, we are off to see the Beast's lawyer, care to come with us?"

You find his lawyer, a dorky looking young barrister with practically no experience.
He seems hesitant to give permission to talk to his client, and wants to know why you think you can help.
