As long as she's understood what she's doing and now has the information to keep adventuring willingly, that's all the information she needed. She was pretty upset having entered the first room without even comprehending what happened. Expecting the unexpected will make this a lot easier on her mood.

I just got back from the mountains. It was super refreshing even with our young spawn in tow, but I'm anticipating a delay in posting, please have patience with me!

I love the mountains especially on skis in the winter. Were you camping or cabin, trails or lake?

We don't have skis or winter where I'm from, but we camped on a mountain near a large lake, and did a pretty chill trail then went fishing to cap it off.

Skiing sounds scary! You do a lot of that?

Learning to ski was terrifying and I still scare myself sometimes but that is down to trying to keep up with my son and friends. They like the speed and some are more experienced so I'm constantly challenged. The views are spectacular and when the conditions are good its such a great feeling rushing down a mountain with little effort.

I reckon if you are going to try you need to have enough lessons to get down an easy blue run. By that point you will know if you want to get into this expensive hobby.

@pseudenim, Ah, keeping up with sons, eh? I get that. I like the mountains, but the ocean is where I'm most comfortable. Since we're talking expensive hobbies, scuba diving is a must-try for the fam.

I always fancied learning to scuba dive. Mexico seems like a good spot but then you hear the stories of very lax safety and realise that one expensive (even if its confined to the winter) might be enough

Hi @rook! Re: your game update, I was just riffing off of your recent post stating quite plainly that there were both Eladrin and Shadar-kai elves who paid attention to Hex. Totally fine if it's just Eladrin though.
