The Motley Crew
Stats: Either roll 4d6kh3, or a 30 point buy(stats starting at 8). If you roll your stats and they come out terrible, ping me and I might allow a reroll. Format: Put a link to your charsheet in your post in this thread, and copy over the description you had in the application thread. Here's some updated rules. Equipment for purchase exists, as well as a power list up to level 2 for the castery types. Pathfinder Future, Mark 3. If you want a power or such that isn't on the list, ask, and I might grant you mercy. Money startings for you peoples: Sunshine - Nexus - 2d4x10 g, 1 weapon you have proficiency with. Senessel - Rogue - 3d6x10 g, 2 weapons or 1 weapon/1 armour you have proficiency with. Klikam - Empowered - 1d6x10 g, 1 weapon you have proficiency with. Jup - Reaper - 1d6x10 g, 2 weapons you have proficiency with, 1 armor. Lilith - Psion - 2d4x10 g, 1 weapon you have proficiency with. Money for items in the rules text are in terms of the Alakim Culen, Selen, Golen, Palen, and Diden, which are the exact same 10-1 exchange rate of the DnD/Pathfinder money and are totally not me being lazy in terms of their starting letters at all. Most stuff is written in g, as that's the standard currency we go with, but higher cost items (like ship parts) tend to be in p or d, just to keep the number smaller.

Name: "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die!" -Giving an impromptu history lesson.
Sunshine Colt Race: "Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle." -Sunshine chronicles the epic journey from fridge to desk. Ormu Sex: "For you, baby? I'm anything you want me to be." -Creeping out a drunk guy. Ambiguous. Tends to go along with people's guesses. Prefers the pronoun "it" Age: "Let me go! I have rights, damn you! I can vote and everything!" -Tail stuck in an automatic door. 18 Alignment: "Look, I'm just trying to be a good person here. I know I'm not much of a hero, but I just want everyone to be happy. Except you." -Drowning a space pirate in the sink. CG Class: "And then they used to put on this weeeeeeid music and cut into my brain. Felt a little like this." -Educating a queue jumper Nexus (Madness) Appearance: "I feel pretty, oh so pretty, so pretty and happy and fiiiiiiiiine!" -While brandishing bloody pizza wheel. Sunshine is very thin, with bones showing pretty clearly through its midnight blue skin. It looks kinda creepy, but kinda cute too, with a smooth-featured face that belongs either to the most girly of boys or the most boyish of girls, a huge smile that goes from innocent glee to "I'm going to eat you" in the merest fraction of a second and big silver eyes that don't blink as often as they should. It has silver hair, but keeps it shaved. It usually paints two sliver lines down its face, starting on the forehead, going down over the eyelids and stopping on the cheeks. When it must wear clothes, it wears tunics, cloaks, kimonos and a variety of masks. When it goes out, it likes to wear metal claws bought from a fetish shop on the finger tips of its left hand. This isn't for any fetish related reason, it just likes them. It's short and not too happy about that. Everything about the way Sunshine moves is smooth and flowing, sometimes in pleasant ways, sometimes not. Personality: "Um. Hello? Hellooo? Um. I'm trying to buy things but I've got lost and uh. And I don't know what to do. Come on, come on, come on! This would be so much easier if you picked up. People are STARING at me!." -Phoning for help while looking for turkey slices. Sunshine is named for its disposition and smile. It's willing to help out strangers, a little too trusting and has the kind of amazement at the world in general that you normally only see in a child. It hates eating and puts it off for as long as possible, sometimes to the point of collapse. It has developed various techniques to avoid the grizzly task, such as drinking fibre drinks, energy drinks, coffee and lots of water, chewing gum, chewing pens, insisting that thin soup is food and eating candy, which is the least bad kind of food. When it does eat meals, it prefers them to be white meat and dairy products, since it cannot digest red meat and, as an ormu, doesn't eat much else. As a general rule, the more processed, the better. It's generally happiest alone and in a familiar environment, but if in an unfamiliar environment it freaks out if it's not with other people. It's easily startled by loud noises and sudden movements, but optimistic about new people and experiences as long as there's somebody around to help in case it stops being able to cope for whatever reason. It's uncomfortable about booze and any drug that makes you hallucinate or slows you down. It sees drunk people as lowering themselves somehow and can't metabolise alcohol anyway. Stimulants are a different story, however. If something can make Sunshine go faster or longer, Sunshine wants that thing. Particularly if it can inject it right into its veins. That's a rare treat. It hates sleeping. "Waste of my life." Sunshine lets its morals guide it and absolutely never deviates from doing what it thinks is right. It's ethics are a little different from most people's, however. Once you break the rules, you're an un-person in it's eyes. Not deserving of punishment, but not protected by the rules you've rejected. It's also pretty much incapable of feeling guilt "It seemed ok to do at the time" is always excuse enough for it as far as its own conduct goes. It's mercilessly efficient about killing its enemies and can forget such deeds as easily as other people forget binning an inanimate object. Along with dehumanising people, Sunshine humanises objects. It will happily chatter away to them while using them, feel betrayed when they seem out to get it etc. It doesn't actually believe they have feelings as such, but dislikes seeing things broken or thrown away, and is easily angered when they're uncooperative. Sometimes, when it addresses them, they answer. It genuinely believes that everything, however big or small, has some kind of spirit in it "like a kami or something". It talks to God too. And Jesus and Satan. Casually, as though they're people it knows and they're in the room right now. It tries not to do that when there are other people around. It likes bugs and keeps oversized beetles as pets. Killing bugs that aren't clearly a threat to you is a fantastic way to get savaged by it. Sunshine has difficulty separating stories from reality. It sometimes feels like it's being watched, as though be viewers or readers, it expects things to follow a plot, to have twists, villains, heroes and sidekicks. To be about something. It loves stories. Sometimes, this trait comes in useful, but other times it's as misleading as you would expect. Sunshine's goals include seeing as much of the universe as possible, making some friends, finding somebody to settle down with, having as much fun as a person can have, living an awesome story and dying satisfied. Background: "That'll happen, I'm afraid. They didn't really make me very well" -Explaining why its been vomiting blood. Is secret. Random Trivia: "I own a bicycle!" -Explaining why it is superior to all other ormu. High voice, but not in a bad way. Could be an excellent singer. Has perfect pitch, even, but has never noticed. Sometimes crunches up raw eggs and eats them shell and all. Dislikes toads. Claims they're just wrong. Loves dance and music. Can't exactly perform music, but give it a computer and a few hours and it'll kick up something pretty damn good. Confuses AM with PM. "Look, buttface, it's a four O'clock. Don't nitpick." Enjoys children's entertainment at least as much as stuff aimed at adults. Slightly uncomfortable with the thought that it should never have been born. It's certain it's a wrong thing, but doesn't want to not have lived. Has great difficulty understanding what separates a rule from a guideline. Likes to gamble, but knows it will lose. Sees its overall losses as the price of the entertainment. Favourite movie is the second re-make of The Princess Bride. If it ever saw the original, it would prefer it apart from the lack of 3D and the kid, who got edited out of the newer one. Favourite soda is blue flavour. Likes spooking people, but only when it's trying to. Feels sad when it spooks people accidentally. Favourite word is "Ham!". It does not actually eat ham, or even like the smell of it. Once slept in the bed of a giant alien pet lizard and caught a disease, but got better again. Last edited by Caput; Aug 30th, 2010 at 11:05 AM. |

Name: Klikam Gartusk
Race: Alakim Sex: Male Age: 20 Alignment: Neutral Good Class: Empowered Appearance: Klikam looks very similar to an ant. Except that Klikam is much skinnier than a standard ant. He also has a much pointier face. Even though most Alakim don't have exoskeletons, Klakim has assorted plate looking pieces on his body that are studded with something that resembles horns or dull spikes. Personality: Klikam is solely dedicated to the task that is given to him. Duty and honor are of up most importance to him and he has little time for much else. His mind operates very mathematically. It's not so much that Klikam is cold, he simply does not understand emotion. He can't. It just doesn't make any sense to him. Background: Klikam is a born and raised warrior. Klikam came from a military family, was trained by the military, and joined the military as soon as he was able. The emotion was beaten out of him at a very young age and was taught to never abandon the mission. Klikam was very much programmed. During basic training Klikam was somewhat disobedient. Not in the sense that he didn't obey rules but he refused to use guns or weaponry of any kind. He thought them a bit cowardly. So he trained excessively with hand to hand combat and excelled far beyond many of his predecessors. During his training however he met a very fair female Alakim. They trained together and she was almost as good as he was, almost. When it came time however and he deciding to make his move. The female rejected him strongly stating that it was only a fling and she had someone to go home to. They tried to be friends afterward but it just made things really awkward and they slowly drifted apart. After which, Klikam swore off all love, thinking a waste of time. After basic training, Klikam was transferred to a terran world. Klikam would be upset about this if he remembered what being upset felt like. Instead he feels slightly bothered. Like a slight prick in his head. He ignores this as his duty demands him to do the job regardless of what he may think or feel. Random Trivia(optional): Klikam has an obsession with chocolate. It is a very compulsive behavior and he has difficulty controlling this. He will go out of his way if he senses chocolate in the area. There he is. Let me know if there are any red flags or anything stupid. http://www.rpgcrossing.com/profiler/view.php?id=15118

There should be WIS added to AC, giving him an AC of 16, not 14. You're missing the first bonus feat from being an Empowered(mainly my fault, issa typo there). You took Swift as a feat, but didn't add the +5 to speed(should be speed 35). Your unarmed strike/flurry of blows isn't marked in the weapons section(they deal 1d6+1+STR damage). Mark your skills as class skills, otherwise the sheet won't give you the +3 bonus for ranks in a class skill(Acrobatics (Dex), Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Diplomacy(Cha), Escape Artist (Dex), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (history) (Int), Knowledge (religion) (Int), Perception (Wis), Perform (Cha), Profession (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), Stealth (Dex), and Swim (Str)) Caput Your nom attack should be written down(1d3+1+STR, no AoO if used while grappling). Your racial bonuses to skeelz aren't written(+2 Climb, Stealth, Swim, -4 Jump). Note that you may want to modify your powers once I get the silly lists fully typed up. I think that's it for now. A list of equipment now exists in the rules text up top. If you want something that isn't on the list(since there's far too much to write down everything), give a shout demanding I sell you your strange equipment that shuns the item list.

This is a stupid question but just for verification, empowers are basically monks right? So a weapon is not necessary correct? and thanks btw.
EDIT: Oh and I picked up that I got a extra feat and picked improved unarmed strike. Is that just given to empowered or do I get another one or something. Forgive me for being ignorant.

So, my recommendation there is to grab that little link at the top of the thread and hop down to the Empowered section(Ctrl+clicking Empowered in the table of contents hops you right there). I'll save you the trouble for now, but for later questions, it has the answers:
Unarmed Strike: An empowered learns how to strike with any part of their body. They are treated as having the Improved Unarmed Strike feat, and can deal lethal damage with their unarmed strikes(Ipiki gain the ability to perform non-lethal bludgeoning unarmed strikes). They also have improved damage with Unarmed Strikes, see the table above. An empowered can mix attacks from weapons and unarmed strikes at will. Bonus Feats: Empowered gain Bonus Feats as they level up, at 1st level, 2nd level, and every 4 levels thereafter. At 1st level and up, the Empowered can choose between Catch Off Guard, Combat Reflexes, Deflect Arrows, Dodge, Improved Grapple, Scorpion Style, and Throw Anything. At 6th level and up, the Empowered can also choose from Gorgon’s Fist, Improved Bull Rush, Improved Disarm, Improved Feint, Improved Trip, and Mobility. At 10th level and up, the Empowered can also choose from Improved Critical, Medusa’s Wrath, Snatch Arrows, and Spring Attack. The Empowered does not need to meet the prerequisites for these feats. So you don't need Improved Unarmed Strike, and the list of what you can feat is right above this line. Also looking at the sheet, the Flurry of Blows stats are wrong, they take a -1 to both strike's attacks, so +1/+1 rather than +2/-1. Silly Pathfinder changing the rules on you, it's such a rascal. Needs equipment(or at least clothes), and a list of such is in the above link as well. Everything else looks tasty, though. As for the weapon thing, you can use it to grab something useful, like a knife or a wrench, and get it for free, even if you have better ways to beat people up.

Caput: Spell saves should be 13 and 14, not 3 and 4. Also, no matter how crazy Sunshine is, Revolvers don't have an attack of 1d8.
MCP: Check the box that says "Worn" by the armor, or it won't be added in that AC field up top. hobo: You almost got everything, he just needs items. And clothes, that would be good too.

Don't make characters while sleepy people. It can only lead to rolling d20+d8 as your attack roll. Also putting in the magic dc values for a variant rule we're not using.
