[OOC] Ook

I was sick this weekend. I'm still mostly queasy. Seems like everybody in the world's sick at once. :P

Yup. I'm feeling pretty damn rough myself.

I return from vacationy things. I'm bad at skiing, but nothing is broken, and the nice doctor person gave me happy pills to make me feel better.

Nice. I've never gone skiing but I have to assume with my natural clumsiness I'd break a few bones before I left.

Well, I can ski, I just can't stop. In this case, I was failing to stop, and hit a patch of ice. Didn't land awkwardly, but since I was still not stopping, my arm got dragged behind me. My shoulder tendons insist on being whiny, but like a kid with candy, the doctor's Vicodin makes them shut up for a bit.

In mildly related news, we did get some pre-flight entertainment, in the form of a woman who was tasked with watching her grandkids, with the mild problem of being a paranoid perfectionist, and the kids acting up because she had such amusing reactions whenever something didn't go according to plan. I especially enjoyed the part where she was calling them nimrods, as that word doesn't get used nearly enough.

This game doesn't work. Interest seems to be minimal and I can't say I blame anybody, with the possible exception of me. Eventful it is not. Who wants to go on?

I don't mind continuing. I was waiting for one of the others to chime in.
I like the concept but honestly, I 'm not sure where you are going with it.
I was hoping that I was just clueless and someone else figured out what you want us to do.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering about the whole "find the detective" part. I'm not really sure where it's going either.

maybe a refocus and restart is in order. The concept is great, but I think we got off to a bad start. Maybe just my opinion though.

I still like the concept and the game, to be clear. I just need a bit more excitement, I guess.

Yeah, I know I've screwed up the pacing horribly here. Sorry about that.

The idea was that the house would serve as a partial introduction to Lamb before you even met him and give the characters a chance to get talking. I was expecting somebody to leave the house to try asking around or something. Once the customer arrived, I was hoping everybody would say "Woo! Finally, a quest!" and go charging off to the scene of the crime or something.

We'll keep going and I'll try to save it. I'm going to devote some thought to it over the course of the day.

Oh, and thanks for the confidence in the concept. It's appreciated.

Well guys. This is it. Lamb and Associates is done. I'm really sorry it's gone this way and I'm aware of how it went wrong, but I've decided it's past saving.
Thanks again for the confidence and for liking the idea, but no good is coming of continuing this. Maybe I'll play with you again, maybe I won't. Either way, I won't be doing this to you again.

Aww and I never got to trap anyone in my maze. Another time I guess. Thanks for letting me play a Witch Hunter Minotaur, haha. I know it's a bit unusual but I enjoyed our short time.
