Well. This is just great. So the station's going to pieces all around him, coming down around his ears, and he's only got a revolver he won from some dark-skinned Terran and a patchy suit of semi-hard armor to keep the roving space goblins or... Whatever it is that's destroying the ship from eating him alive and chewing on his bones. Time to grab his stuff and mae for an escape pod or something... Hopefully there's a way out that's not that air duct, he won't fit through wearing his bulkier new clothing.

You flitter through the vents until you reach that wonderful panel/ladder right outside your house(they thought of everything when making this place, clearly). There's the sounds of running and shooting above, but perhaps a quick dash might get you to your stuff unnoticed.

 

The coin goes woosh, then splat. Landed on face. You're not sure which way face is, but the face is looking right, so might as well. Wiggle wiggle.

 

Your friend here doesn't look to be doing very good. Spines are essential parts of the Terran body, sadly, and aren't conducive to handing people off to doctors 10 feet above you, even if such things exist.
You do manage to get Klikam into a more stable part of the vent, though.

Thanks friend. getting up ignoring any injuries that may have been attained but I'm fine. What we need to do is find a way out of here. Any other survivors down here?

Glancing this way and that after prying the grate off of the duct, Sennesel skitters on six limbs over to the door to his room to hit the keycode to let himself in.

No one responds to your cries for healthy NPCs. Guess not.

 

Oh dear... this is a bad time. The section around your house is also locked down, and you see two guards with their trademark stun rifles taking potshots at 3 men dressed in dark grey armor. Two of the agressors have plasma rifles, the other seems rather unarmed, and all are busy trying to murder each other very hard. What civilians haven't cowered and run are doing that right now. A plasma bolt sprays wide, splatting into the wall a few feet from you, though they seem to have bigger things to worry about than shooting people popping out of the ground.

You note that the lockdown door farthest from your house(in the direction away from the food sector you were in previously) has had a hole blasted into it. Sonic charge, if your quick glance tells you right. Well, poop.

You slip inside your house. Home sweet home, though not for much longer.

OOC 8-4 attack roll. They miss by a mile, though to be fair they weren't aiming at you.

Oh. Um. Yes, ducking into the room and grabbing everything he owns (and a few things he doesn't), Sennesel grabs his stuff and peers out from the doorway. Is the air duct the only other way out other than the blasted... Blast doors? Aren't they meant to not do that?

He points The vent. I think that's our escape...got a plan? Jup looks agitated that he can't think of how to be more helpful to the situation at large

Dammit. Well look, we got to keep a cool head. Let's get through this vent and see where we end up. We need to find as many survivors as we can and get to a safe place. I may not be official but my job is to take care of these people. Klikam heads for the vent and checks the safety.

It's still held in place, but with the way this section is going, a solid kick would pop it off.

 

You gather up your stuff, in a precariously full backpack of doom. Now the hard part...

Hm... Where to go. Poking just one eye out down in the direction of the hallway where the lasers are coming from, Sennesel tries to gauge if there are any serviceable ducts to exploit. Or any in his room, for that matter.

Well, it seems secure for not but a good jolt will knock it loose. It's you're call. If we are going to move, we gotta move fast.
