After that in the Dungeon Master's Guide lists in in alphabetical order or page 150

What may interest you is the basic...
+1 , +2, OR +3 (any ammunition),
uncommon (+1), rare (+2), or very rare (+3)
You have a bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this piece of magic ammunition. The bonus is determined by the rarity of the ammunition. Once it hit a target, the ammunition is no longer magical.

Would that be in addition to mundane costs? Because a mundane suit of plate armor is 1500 gp. Seems like it might be kind of odd if +2 plate armor were cheaper.

That table is for ammunition: arrows,bolts and such. A +2 suit of armour is very rare (from memory) and therefore out of the price range as that starts at 5k.

I'll try find a list of magical items outside of the DMG for everyone.


Yes you can kit out your mooks (npcs) with magical gear if you have the coin.

Would it make it easier if I switched to the Lord position? I believe to let others play the part of the Hero that if X allows and no one wants it already that I will build the Lord(Lady) Skelburt.

Edit: Saw Ed has the Lord job and so with that we got a good start. X did you add Ed to our war council?

X could we use our build points on things like forges or some sort of means to repair or replace gear? Also what is your ruling on Loremaster UA class wizards and creating magic items?

Upon reading through the available magic items, it seems to me that having this kind of access to rare magic items is pretty likely to undermine the core concept here. In particular, the Helm of Teleportation allows a party of 8 (effectively all of us) to teleport from one end of the field to another, bypassing the entirety of the trenches, traps, towers and NPC troops the GM worked so hard to put together. There are other "game-breaking" rare items too, that's just the one that stuck out the most. Cube of Force is another. Uncommon items seem okay.

My suggestion would be to stick to the average prices for magic items, not rock bottom. This would put common items at 75 gold, Uncommons at 300, and Rares out of reach at 3000. And that should include the price of the mundane base item.

Yeah I vote for more expensive magic too. At 100 a pop every Mook could have magic items enough to make them a real threat instead of the speed bumps they're intended to be.

Maybe the heros lorld level characters could have a few rares or very rares though. That way they get that extra boost to lift them to boss fight level!
