Anyway: what do think about the usage of an isometric/3D map? Better, same or worse than classic 2D maps?

Regarding the two manticores, it was a combination of good planning and luck. Good planning in that we had a significant number of characters with ranged attacks. Luck in that most of the attacks went against our tank (Suluruk) and they didn't roll very well.

The Isometric maps make for better illustration, particularly with the Flyers. However, I was doing a bit of hand-waving regarding movement and specific locations.

It does set your map apart from some others, and you have the possibility of hiding something on the map without hiding bits of the map with shadows or blacked out squares

The isometric map looks great, for sure. The absence of a coordinates could make it a little difficult to work with, but that wasn't really important here.

On a related point, a couple of times I said that Prrup-tik moved into full cover within the airship wreck after shooting, but that didn't seem to happen. Was full cover unavailable?

@LeDragon and Players,

I’m seeing next steps as
1) Deal with the dead - I had initially assumed just the crew of the crashed ship (which was my initial intent), but it could be expanded to include the Orcs and Manticore. I’m not sure about ceremonies. Burial seems overwhelming. If it was a ship at sea, there could be a toss them overboard (i.e., burial at sea). Is there an equivalent for Sky ships? Funeral pyres might be a possibility.

2) Loot the ship. This seems to be more a function of Value/Weight.

3) Explore/Loot. Presumably the first ship was here looking for something. Khat is up for Investigating/Exloring

4) Scoot. This seems/seemed a dangerous area. We’ve no confirmation the Dragon is dead and so need to be ready to leave at a moment notice which is not conducive o points 1-3 above.

My understanding was that the orcs had their own airship. Is that correct? Otherwise this sounds sensible, although not sure the Captain is going to want to search for treasure as opposed to trying to find the orcish airship that caused this crash.

Seems to me that the biggest danger is the returning orc ship, though maybe that's the job, if the orcs took prisoners. Salvage and explore/loot sound good in the meantime, though.

Prrup-tik could use 6 (our of 49) to top him off, but that's not a priority. Valerius looks hurt, and I bet Suluruk is too.

I believe he is a little, if memory serves, but he can also wildshape up once more today if it's impractical to do now

If anybody want to use Kazza's Hand of Healing for 1d4+4, just holler and I'll roll the die. For a short rest one can also obviously burn HD.

How many uses - 2? Can they both be used on the same character?

Seems like Valerius should heal via Wildshape, since he'll get it right back after the short rest. Kazza can then heal Suluruk and Prrup-tik, in that priority order.
