Calathes turns to the group. "Ithuriel is ready on the door. Vallak will lead the charge, followed by Abaddon, Al, Elric, myself, and Ithuriel...in that order. Fan out once through the door. Do not stay grouped where they can hit us all together. May the grace of Iomedae and the luck of Desna be with us all."

"Ithuriel, open the door on my signal. Remember, shouting is an integral part of the Silverkin Maneuver. Don't forget it! Is everyone set?"

Ithuriel throws open the door, using it for cover, so the warriors can make their charge.

If Kallav is still down 5 or more HP, he heals 5 HP, and Ithuriel takes the same amount of damage.

Please read Live Play Synopsis and check initiatives before continuing.

All heroes gain the following benefits for this encounter:

Damage Reduction 10/good
Regeneration 5 (unholy damage or evil spells)
Resist Acid 10
Resist Fire 10
All attacks are treated as good +2d6 damage vs. evil subtype
Once per round, PCs can roll 1d12 and add the score to any 1d20 roll they just made



Six demons have just jumped through the portal and begin attacking the heroes!


CE Medium outsider (chaotic, demon, evil, extraplanar)
AC 19, touch 11, flat-footed 18 (+1 Dex, +8 natural)

Al takes his hands clasps them together and uppercuts the demon next to him.

 


 


Elric takes a 5 foot step back and attacks the demon next to him.

 


OOC, not sure if it applies to Al so I didn't add it.

Protective Slime (Su)

A layer of acidic slime coats a babau's skin. Any creature that strikes a babau with a natural attack or unarmed strike takes 1d8 points of acid damage from this slime if it fails a DC 18 Reflex save. A creature that strikes a babau with a melee weapon must make a DC 18 Reflex save or the weapon takes 1d8 points of acid damage; if this damage penetrates the weapon's hardness, the weapon gains the broken condition. Ammunition that strikes a babau is automatically destroyed after it inflicts its damage.

Elric, roll Alphonse's Reflex to see if he takes the acid damage. The bonus above only applies to the PCs.

OOC, why did you post the information about the acid for everyone to see without anyone making knowledge checks? It would have been much cooler if we would've started taking acid damage and had to figure it out.

Calathes will take a 5 foot step back from melee so that he can fire two arrows at the closest demon. If a 5 foot step is not enough to get me out of melee, then ignore the below attacks. Instead, Calathes will use the Withdraw action to move 30 ft back from the demons. I will back up into the previous room if necessary.

Dice Attack Roll w/ Cold Iron Arrow and Favored Enemy Bonus and 1d12 special bonus:
1d20+8+2 (1)+8+2 Total = 11
d12t 10 Running Total = 21


Dice Attack Roll w/ Cold Iron Arrow and Favored Enemy Bonus:
1d20+8+2 (11)+8+2 Total = 21


Dice Damage Roll w/ Favored Enemy Bonus, Trait Bonus (Treerazer's Bane), and special 2d6 Good bonus:
1d8+5+2+2 (1)+5+2+2 Total = 10
2d6t 3, 2 Running Total = 15 Total = 5


Dice Damage Roll w/ Favored Enemy Bonus, Trait Bonus (Treerazer's Bane), and special 2d6 Good bonus:
1d8+5+2+2 (5)+5+2+2 Total = 14
2d6t 6, 1 Running Total = 21 Total = 7
