Some very nice additions. I'll add a little something from my end:

Throwing my hat in the ring, I'd like to expand on the pantheon!
Did I just create a monster? Let's hope that Husk Lords will not be a bane to everbody's existence. What can go wrong giving intelligence to a biological weapon and then also enforcing it to the point of being magically invulnerable? Gungalion is a trickster god dialed to eleven! I have a little problem imagining much more races or new big regions at the moment. From the Harpy post we know (A), that they are "One race, making up roughly 30% of the humanoid population" and (B) "most bird-folk still live in nomadic tribes in the Desert of Seven Eyes". Either the Desert of Seven Eyes is incredibly large or we don't have that much humanoid diversity in the rest of the world. I might be mistaken in constituting nomadic tribes as masses below thousand individuals, but that would leave us with roughly 20% of the humanoid population spread in myriads of tribes in the Desert of Seven Eyes. Through recent posts we already know about a few other humanoid races (not even only counting sentient races). I had thought about putting up a new continent, but for every landmass we add and every new race that's we want to have a significant population, we would need to imagine the Desert of Seven Eyes proportionally larger.
I feel like, if we don't find a way around it, with how low the density is for nomadic tribes to populate a desert, we'd need to always end up with 70% of the world being the Desert of Seven Eyes. Not even accounting for more maritine races besides the merfolk around the Strait of Keppana. If we are fine with that, I am happy to add more races and landmasses. What do the rest of you think? Maybe HotsuSama can help shed some light. Could just be, that I took the rules too seriously. |

Though it's an odd restriction to have, I think you bound yourself a bit too much there. It's actually quite easy to snake out of that rule. The world is bigger than the map we made together and not all humanoids live on it. Though they have originated from far north and made contact with the people of the land on our map, there's no telling just how far spread they are or how sophisticated they are on the whole. There could be an unexplored continent where feral harpies live short and dangerous lives, being the main prey item to some truly horrific monsters. We just don't know yet.

Anyways, here is something I feel that's safe to add.

I thought about that, but then it wouldn't be "most bird-folk still live [...] in the Desert of Seven Eyes", yes? But if we are allowed to handwave a little, I'd be fine with that.

It's also possible to contextualise that statement, if you want to keep it true but add a qualifier: 'make up 30% of the humanoid population on this continent', for example. Which lines up with Gabe's thought of harpies on other continents.
(And actually, looking back on that harpy post I forgot to include desert/arid lands to the north that are apparently their point of origin on the map, so seems like things get left behind anyway ...) It's always going to be a risk with collaborative worldbuilding like this that small inconsistencies and bumps appear. I'll smooth out potential clashes where necessary, and sometimes non-essential background details can be adjusted on the fly if they create dead ends or issues with future possibilities. Short answer: a little handwaving is fine.
