"Oh, there goes my best chain shirt" says illiaster. "Oh well. Looks like all those experiments finally caught up to me. Price alchemists pay."

Raka: The dragon is talking in a nice throaty voice. Powerful sounding, but awkward. It is also stomping everywhere in an effort to look about itself, with little regard for where your feet are(or more likely, it hasn't figured out how large those claws are on it's feet).

"Yeah, take a look." Eia picks up the tree sculpture and fiddles with it, checking it for magic quite oblivious to Illiaster's problems next-door.

Eia: It's very nice blown glass, but it doesn't appear to be magical. Probably expensive though, which is just as good.
Illiaster:

"Well, this will take some getting use to." he says, trying to get the hang of walking on all fours. "And i'll have to get new tools again. I hope i'm getting paid enough for that. We'll leave the crystal here for now. Let's move on. "

Raka finds Illiaster's new form even more disturbing. She wasn't quite sure what had happened, but now she wasn't sure if smashing the crystal would be such a good idea. The last thing the gnoll wanted to do was become some hunched over feral beast. Illiaster mind seemed intact, however, so Raka sees no need to be suspicious about his intentions.
She collects her things and readies to move to the next room to see what the others had discovered. |

Eia pockets her new toy. "This looks good. I can find somewhere around the house for it."
She strides out of the room and stops dead in her tracks when she sees Illaster. "Oh! I didn't realise you could do that!"

"Neither did i. I think it might have been something i ate. The other alchemists at the academy tend to put things in the food if your not paying attention. That reminds me, i still have some ale left if anyone wants it."

Dergan shakes his head in confusion at Illiaster's newfound appearance. Err...no thanks. Did tha' crystal thingie do that to ya? If so....could 'splain a lot. If it can make veggies try and eat us, why not make you look like...eh, whatever the heck you are. So; what do we know? Tha' crystal's obviously got sumpthin' to do with the plants goin' nuts...if we take it outta' here, do you think that'll fix it?

"i don't think so. If anything it just accelerated it. I've been in this process for a while now. There is something odd about it but i can't figure it out at the moment. You find anything?"

Dergan shrugs noncommittally, then hands the book over the Illiaster. Found a book in the lab there tha' might have some information; have 'er a look see. I'll head back and make sure there's nothin' we missed. With that, he returns to the room in which they had found the book and looks about in a more thorough manner, going through the desk, looking under the rug, and even prodding the twitching corn-critter aside to look under it.

Illiaster looks over the book. He was good with texts, but his new found claws made it difficult to turn pages. It would take some getting use to.

"The sooner you find the source of this trouble the better. I'm ready to get out of this place.", Raka nearly murmurs. She didn't wait very long for a reply before moving back to the entrance of the room. There, she peeks cautiously back into the hallway, seeing if any more of the "trouble" was on it's way.
