Well! Now that all my school (bleep) is out of the way, I've finally got time to kick this game into action. Hello all!

Hey! I'm just writing to let you know that my character stuff will have to go up sometime tomorrow. Unfortunately tonight is very much dedicated to school stuff for me.

It's me, with the little explodey bits! I don't recall ever coming up with a rhyme for my application, but I'm sure it would've been "I prepared explosive runes this morning." anyway. Hope this becomes a fun and crazy pyromaniac game!

@Alesch: No worries at all. I understand completely. That's been me lately.
@NEON725: I was tempted to message you separately being like MAKE UP A SONG OR YOU GET EXPLODEDEDED! but I let it slide... for now... Goboom was just too much of an amusing name to pass on.

Given that my character followed near half of the goblin rules before I even knew what they were, I'm sure he's craven enough to have a few manias. If one of them happens to be that he never stops talking, he's bound to rhyme sooner or later. Or cuss out the giant dragon, which is always fun. After all, his biggest dream is to become a firework and blow up a star.

Just a quick post to say I'm in. I'll be on in a few hours to really get going.

The favorite class bonus I used for a skill point, as he has a -1 Int modifier and lost one, Ange.

LOL, no worries. Though the goblin favorites were awfully tempting, but i'll see about later on. :P

Hey Ange, considering how Gub received his blunderbuss I'm not entirely sure how to handle this, would One-Eye's starting firearm be medium or small? I think using an oversized weapon is something to the tune of a -4 to hit penalty, but I'd do it anyway. He did take the gun from a human, after all.

I'm willing to say that you treat it as a small firearm (including damage, etc) even though it might be bigger than standard, because you've had many years to train with it...and modify it. So basically, the gun is just as big as a human's, but you're carrying it around and, I don't know, holding onto it with your teeth or counterbalancing with your ears or something. Probably a couple of mods to make it easier to hold onto as well. The lower damage can be explained away by the fact that you're effectively using "goblincraft" ammunition, which is bound to be crappier than normal ammo.
Or you could just take the -4 penalty and use a big gun. ![]()

Counterbalancing? No no no, I've just gotten enough practice that when the blast knocks me over I know how many times I need to roll to end up on my feet!
I'll probably treat it as small though, if only so I can have a bayonet!

I would've paid to see the goblin counterbalancing it with his ears. Just don't give him the magic of duct tape. Also, I recommend a mandatory knockback effect simply because it's amusing. I really want to watch him try and fire at a guy only to get launched into the air.

My character sheet should be done now. I just have to pick a 'special item', though honestly I'm happy without one. A gun is plenty of special stuff as far as I'm concerned
