Name: Alath Ledotil Race: Kor Alignment: NG Class: Ranger Background: Outlander (Outcast) Personality Trait: I feel far more comfortable around animals than most people Ideal: It is each person's responsibility to make the most happiness for the whole tribe Bond: My tribe is the most important thing in my life, even when they are far from me Flaw: I am slow to trust people in this new land. Description: To say that Alath is pale is not only an understatement, it's also technically incorrect, his skin is a bluish grey, always has been since the day he was born in fact. Another feature of his that is unchanged are his pupil-less, alabaster eyes. He keeps his hair in long braids that he does himself as a part of his family heritage. He usually wears a sleeveless linen shirt and a brown leather vest, and brown leather breeches. He stands at about six feet and weighs 160 stones. Personality: Alath has only gotten quieter since his exile, choosing to shy away from conversation and using a very rudimentary version of his silent Kor speech. He is determined to redeem himself before he tries to return home. Since his brasher, younger days, he has learned to calm himself, finding a kind of peaceful meditation in his archery. Since coming here, he adheres himself to a semi-strict code, since he has trouble understanding the laws of this new land, favoring his silence over most conversation. History: Alath hails from a tribe of Kor that are especially proficient with bows and archery in general. When he became a man, he walked on hot coals as was tradition. The problem is that night the tribe was hit by a hard storm, and Alath had guard duty for the entire night. He was stricken with fever the very next day, as were several other members of the tribe. The illness was so vicious, that Alath considers himself very fortunate to have survived it, as the majority did not. Shortly thereafter, Alath joined up with the Archery corps, where he thrived. In celebration, him and some of his friends went out hunting, it soon became apparent, however, that this wouldn't be an easy hunt as after being outsmarted by the beast. His friends returned to the tribe, considering the hunt a washout, but Alath tracked the beast for two whole weeks in the mountains. He even crossed a giant chasm on a rickety rope bridge as the winds howled and lashed out all around him. He finally chased it into a series of caves he discovered behind a waterfall where he finally cornered and killed the beast. But things had been even tumultuous at home, Alath quickly discovered that while he had been chasing the beast out of hurt pride, his tribe had been attacked and a number of it's members killed. Enraged, he immediately tracked the bandits down, and using guerrilla tactics, chased them out of the mountains, even going so far as to eat the heart of the first one he killed in front of the rest. When he returned to his tribe, he was greeted with most tragic news, because he had let his pride get the better of him and succumbed to his wrath, the elders had no choice but to banish him from the tribe. Kor banishment is the equivalent of a death sentence, as they take drastic measures to ensure that the offending party can never return. As such they banished him from the Plane of Zendikar, and he wound up in this new strange land, an alien in an even more alien world.

Race Half-Elven Class Druid; Circle of the Land (Arctic) Background Far Traveler; Exile from Sossal Personality Traits I have a strong code of honor or sense of propriety that others don't comprehend. I express affection or contempt in ways that are unfamiliar to others. Bond I hold no greater cause than my service to my people. Ideal I have much to learn from the kindly folk I meet along my way. Flaws I have a weakness for the exotic beauty of the people of these lands. Personality Wenceslas is a kind and gentle soul. He has a soft spot in his heart for children. He often crafts small toys to give as gifts to the youngsters. He enjoys his pipe and delights in blowing smoke rings. The druid has a hearty laugh. He has a fondness for deer and other antlered ungulate. He wears a red fur coat. Backstory From the frozen north, he came. Some guess Sossal, but he'd never confirm it. What happened in the past, is past. Wenceslas looks toward the future, a future denied to him in his homeland. The Goodkin clan had long resided in Sossel, descended from a mixed breed of hearty men and snow elves. They worshiped the mountain goddess, Skadi, who gave her blessing to those who honored the balance of nature. Wenceslas was a faithful follower of her druidic teachings. He lived in the village of Sombertown. It was once a quiet little burg, until a man named Berger came to town. Berger brought goods in from the coastal city of Naupau. With him came soldiers, mostly caravan guards. These soldiers were often drunk and belligerent. The villagers took to hiding in their houses when the soldiers were around. Complaints were made to the village elders, but they did nothing. The elders wanted to stay in Berger’s good graces, since he brought them much needed merchandise. Wenceslas decided to take matters into his own hands. He confronted Berger, insisting that the merchant keep his men under control. A heated debate ensued, which led to fisticuffs. The fight ended with two guards unconscious and Berger with a broken nose. Berger packed up shop and left town with his guards and all. For a few months, peace was restored to Sombertown. The town council was angry with Wenceslas, but the druid endured their wrath stoically. Then, Berger returned, this time with an army. The soldiers swept in and took over the town. Berger disbanded the council and declared himself “Meisterberger”, Lord of Sombertown. Wenceslas was found, beaten, thrown into the deepest dungeon and left to rot. His friends Jangles the warlock and the sorceress Jessica helped to free him from captivity. But there was nowhere to hide from Meisterberger’s men. With a heavy heart, Wenceslas left his beloved town and went to Naupau. But, the coastal town was not safe for him either. He was a wanted man with a price on his head. Twice he had to fend off bounty hunters. Seeing no alternative, Wenceslas left Sossal altogether, travelling south across the Ice Sea and the Great Glacier. The journey was long and harrowing. Wenceslas only had the companionship of his pack animal, an elk named Blitzen. There was little food. They had to rely on the magic of Skadi to survive. The way became more dangerous when they entered the realm of the evil frost giant “Snow Mizer”. The giant caught them on an open plain with nowhere to hide. Wenceslas magic was not strong enough to defeat the mighty giant. But, the heroic Blitzen sacrificed itself so the druid could escape. Alone and with no supplies, Wenceslas entered into the region of Icewind Dale. Now, he now wanders the Savage Frontier, looking for a new home and a purpose. It's okay, Crow, we can remain sitting around our campfire and sing songs for another week. I'm sure it'll be fine!
