Oh, man, that would be a hoot! I don't imagine that we'll see that from Paizo, at least not in the Core Rulebook for PF2. But if those flaws came along with some kind of bonus, I think that could be fun.

Something else that bugs me a little is seeing Goblins as a core playable race. Maybe I just haven't been exposed to enough official material from Golarion, but it seems really out-of-character for the world. If Pathfinder were set in Eberron? It would make perfect sense. But in Golarion it seems like Goblins are pretty standard, cartoonishly evil creatures. Not something that should be one of the first options players see as a playable race. Maybe in some later book, or with stats for how to play a goblin PC in the Bestiary.

Am I wrong on that? I've only really played / read fluff for Rise of the Runelords and Wrath of the Righteous, and a little bit of Kingmaker. Do other APs present a different view of goblins that might make the decision make sense?

Updated the table with a list of applications. Surprised by how many are of the shorter races.

@Unko Talok - Goblins have been something of a mascot for Paizo for a while now. They are in most adventure paths with varying importance. They have a player companion all of their own and even a popular series of linked modules that are all about playing as goblins. I also read that they were intending to introduce the idea of certain tribes pulling away from their evil tendencies, though not necessarily their chaotic behavior. This was early on after they had first announced the playtest though, so I am not sure if their intentions are still the same.

Seriously this is what I like about the goblin race. All others seem to be a decent race that has it's bad apples. With Goblins you get that evil chaotic origin and go from there. Or to play the good goblin makes you an outlier. Just something to flip the traditional concept of how you play.
