No idea how I missed this but I'll try to throw an app together quickly, I have a few ideas. Most of them silly. but not too silly.

Deadline is Halloween folks, we're just in the midst of setting up. Apart from using the monster manual everything is homebrew.

App Name: Francisco Diaz de Vivar (Francis/Frank to friends, Diaz to teammates) Race: Flesh golem   Appearance: Tall (if somewhat lanky), Francisco is an imposing sight. His face is smooth but rugged, his eyes looking dull & uninterested. Short brown hair frames his face. His big powerful hands curl into meaty fists. His gait gives a somewhat clumsy appearance. But a bull doesn't need to be graceful when it is charging, nor does Francisco need be when plowing through some unlucky sap on the field. Beneath his Glamour, his skin is far paler, and numerous stitches mark how his body was put back together. Personality: As imposing as is his physical presence, his social presence is minuscule. Francisco is clearly the strong, silent type. Typical responses are of the one word variety. Getting him to utter more than a sentence at a time is itself a rather remarkable event. This does lend the impression that he is he issomewhat slow and he isn'tnot that opinionated. Frankly, the boy seems pretty impassive about most things. Only two sorts really garner much reaction out of him. First, tests of physical prowess, breaking the next limit, all these excite a rare fire in his eyes. He's more likely to deliver a dramatic soliloquy than back down from a challenge. The other sort is bullying. He has a protective streak that has served him well as a defensive lineman. The easiest way to get Francisco to lose his temper is picking on some little guy. Despite his impassive look, he is more of a slow-burning powder keg. You do not want to see him mad. His temper scares even him, and he keeps a tighter rein on it since the last time he lost it.   Backstory: Francisco didn't start out as a monster, just a talented athletic son of two surgeons. But well, you know the story: Boy loves parents. Parents love boy. Boy is mangled beyond hope in a terrible car accident. Parents call the boy's eccentric Great Uncle Victor on his mom's side for help. They perform some procedures of questionable ethics (that may or may not be related to the city powergrid flickering all night), but they save the boy's life ... sort of. The side effects were immediately pretty obvious. Francisco was a lot slower and more withdrawn. He lost his appetite ... literally; he no longer needed to eat or sleep. Girls still looked pretty, but they were not on his mind all the time. He never tired and could now bench like a body builder. He felt invincible. The how & why really didn't matter. Before the accident, he played football and boxed. Now, he practically became a star. At first, he kept it from showing too obviously. But bit by bit, things happened. An unlucky tackle should have snapped his leg, but instead, Francisco just cracked his leg into place, good as new. He practically carried two senior players halfway down the field. These could have simply stayed cool stories or urban legends to share with his buddies, but it got deadly serious one day. One of the other boxers, Sam, got away with beating up some younger student. Francisco so wanted to teach that smug, smarmy jerk a lesson. Then, the smart-ass flashed that cocky smirk. Fransisco lost it. He smashed the jerk in the ribs. The whole room heard an audible crunch. Sam was thrown out of the ring and onto the hard floor. Francisco's fury was snuffed, and he stared aghast. Multiple shattered ribs, massive internal bleeding, a miracle Sam wasn't dead, but worse, it had been so very easy. Francisco was terrified. The giddy high of being invincible was over; a teary, nigh panicked boy had a talk with his parents long, long overdue. The details of the procedures were well beyond him, but he got the basic idea of what happened to him. What was he to do? He couldn't go back. Even if they somehow smoothed over him nearly killing someone, it could easily happen again. He was dangerously strong and with a dangerous temper to match. ... Once again, crazy Great-Uncle Victor came through. He let the family know about a unique school for unique students, a place by the name of Bleakhaven Prep School.   RP Sample: Francisco pushes through the throngs of students milling about the cafeteria. While the tall boy can see over the heads of most of the other students to see whither he needs to go, his progress is slow going over caution with flexing his strength. He finally reaches one of the registration tables and tells the senior his name. In a moment, he is handed a schedule before a nod of thanks. Looking it over, the same courses you'd expect are there. The same looking highschoolers walking about. Nothing unusual about anything. 'But shouldn't there be?' It looks like just any ordinary high school. But if Great-Uncle Victor is to be believed (which he is inclined since he is still sort ofalive right now), then this is a school filled with monsters ... monsters like him. Hard to believe from appearances, but Francisco himself is equipped with that new Glamour thing, working much better than previous attempts with makeup. If it can make him look normal, then what could it be hiding for everyone else? 'Other strong monsters?' The thought brings a smile to his face. Francisco gives little further glance to the class schedule. He is far from a star pupil. Instead, he stops by the trophy cases. He looks over for a section on their football team. Something familiar would be great in this weird, new environment. He thinks he spies something looking like a boxing club. He recalls the sound of a sickening crunch. Shivering, he shakes his head of the memory and quickly tosses that idea aside. 'Maybe, they do wrestling?'

I'm tellin' y'all I don't dye my hair, that's natural... Name: Savannah Ethridge Race: Unicorn   In her natural form Savannah appears as a lithe, light horse with a white coat, pink mane and tail, and pearlescent spiral horn protruding from her forehead. Despite her equine form there's a clear intelligence in her eyes and her movements are those of a creature thinking deliberately rather than just responding out of instinct. It's not uncommon for her to leave glittering motes of sparkling pink light in her wake. In her human form she is a pretty girl a bit on the short side with pink hair, freckles, and pale hazel eyes. She speaks with a clear southern drawl but it isn't thick enough to sound like a stereotype. Savannah tends to dress fairly plainly in jeans or shorts and a t-shirt, not being very fond of "gussyin' up" in anything fancy and generally detesting dresses and skirts.   Savannah is generally laid back, friendly, and outgoing. She likes to have fun and hang out with friends, which are pretty easy for her to make. Rather than rely on charms or any supernatural influence she wins people over with her natural charisma, which is typically more favorable in the long run. She's honest and forthright almost to a fault, deception seems to be a foreign concept to her, which sets her apart from most of the other students at the school. Despite having the virtues of duty and purpose preached at her since she was old enough to understand the words, Savannah has all the sense of responsibility of your average cement block. Though certainly intelligent she tends to shirk her studies because she finds them boring and has shown no interest at all in fulfilling the very duties that she was sent to Bleakhaven to perform in the first place. She's very enthusiastic about the things that do interest her, it's just that those things are almost never the things that she's supposed to be enthusiastic about. The one thing that will raise he ire is the cruelty of others towards other people or animals, whether that cruelty comes from the "monsters" she's supposed to be keeping an eye on or from humans.   Not all monsters are of the bad variety. For as long as there have been wicked and cruel creatures lurking in the dark, there have been benevolent beings ready to shine the light of day upon them. Angels, celestials, ki rin, unicorns, and the metallic dragons are but some of these protectors that have always been ready, even if reluctantly at times, to aid adventurers in the defeat and slaying of those evil and wicked creatures that would torment them. As those evil beings retreated from the world, the guardians of good went with them, silently keeping a watchful eye out should they ever decide to torment the good people of the world again. Most of these beings of good have shown little trust in the monsters' claims of reformation and a desire to live peacefully with the humans that they have long preyed upon. Evil lies, that's what it does after all, and to blindly trust is folly. As happens far too often, the judgmental righteousness of those with good intentions is not far from their own form of tyranny. When Bleakhaven was founded it didn't take long for the forces of good to discover it. They are nothing if not diligent and persistent. Rather than stage a war of eradication however, these forces of good simply demanded that they be allowed to send a representative of their own with every new group of students, in order to keep an eye on things. The founders of Bleakhaven, understanding all too well the relentless bureaucracy of the forces of good, begrudgingly agreed to this demand, as it seemed the simplest way to keep the nosy and self-righteous out of their hair. Most of the time this representative of the light would quickly be labeled the school narc. Every school has one after all, even the mundane human schools have that one person that everyone shuts up around because it's a sure bet they'll go to the principal as soon as they hear of anything out of sorts. But the righteous are not there to make friends, they are there to ensure that their watchful eye keeps evil in its place, even if its watchful eye is so glaringly obvious that all of the monsters would have ample warning to put their misbehavior on hold until the school's tattletale had moved on. This was the role that Savannah was intended to fill, at least that's what her parents envisioned. A pair of stuck-up, judgmental, self-absorbed unicorns either watching over the Smoky Mountains of Appalachia or living in human guise in the city of Gatlinburg, they had dedicated themselves to preserving order and making the world a better place from behind the scenes. At least according to their strict standards, which would have seemed stodgy among the Puritans. But for whatever reasons these lessons never stuck with Savannah. Born in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the first views she can remember were those of the beauty of the surrounding wilderness, and she's never looked away since. Warnings of the temptations of evil and her duty to combat it fell upon deaf ears as she would sneak out to go exploring or just running through the forests. In her human guise heading into town to visit the wide assortment of tourist traps, mini golf courses, and roller coasters was far more important than constant vigilance upon the monsters that supposedly threatened the world. Attempts to control her and force her to accept her responsibilities and duties as an upstanding member of both the mundane and magical societies just seemed to drive her even further way from those lessons. It wasn't that she was a bad sort, at heart she was still a good person, unicorn, what have you, she just had no interest in the strict rules and traditions that her family handed down. The idea that "all monsters are evil" never stuck with her either and rather than approach Bleakhaven with a sense of hostility she sees it as a chance to meet new people from all over the world with a wide variety of backgrounds. All things considered she would be a terrible representative for the forces of good to send to Bleakhaven, but bureaucracies being what they are her appointment for such was made before she was even born, that's how long the waiting list is. And her parents were not going to suffer the humiliation of withdrawing her appointment just because she was a lazy good for nothing who had no intention of serving as the eyes and ears of the forces of good within the school. They can only hope that once she is exposed to the true nature of the evil that lurks there she will understand and come around.   Amidst the sea of other students trying to make their way through the crowd, some looking nervous or fearful, a pink-haired girl with tanned skin strolled more than hurriedly walked. It was like she hadn't a care in this or any other world, carrying a backpack by the strap in one hand and a pair of flip-flops in the other. Her hair was wet, just starting to dry, and water glistened off of her skin. She seemed oblivious to the looks the t-shirt and denim shorts clinging to her caused, or she was well aware but hiding any reaction behind a pair of sunglasses. Could be either, really, she was a bit hard to read. She walked up to the admissions line to get her schedule, and upon seeing the line would take a while despite moving at a fairly swift pace, pulled an old-style mp3 player out of her bag and settled a couple of headphones into her ears. "Gotta love th' classics," she said to herself, bopping her head along with the music and mouthing the words as the line slowly moved forward. Any strange looks from those students around her were likewise ignored, she seemed to be in her own little world at the moment. Once she got to the front of the line she pulled the headphones out of her ears and turned her attention to the senior student assistant handing the schedules out. He gave her a curious look as he asked her name, interrupting the standard array of questions with "Is it raining outside or something?" "Naw, I just showed up early to take a swim in th' pool. But I forgot to bring a towel so I just gotta air dry," she answered, pulling her sunglasses off and dangling them from between her teeth. The assistant nodded his head, assuming she was some sort of aquatic creature like a mermaid, water elemental, or triton. They tended to spend most of their free time in the pool. Once her name popped up on the laptop he was using to process the admissions he did a double take, looking up at her and then back to her screen a couple of times. "Oh... you're the... representative," he said, a bit of apprehension in his voice. "Aw now why ya gotta be like 'at? I'm just like everyone else here, ain't here to start no trouble. Just 'cause my folks are all stuck-up don't mean I am," she answered, hands on her hips in a defensive posture. "Mm hm. Last year's representative was a silver dragon named Sterling. Now that's creative. He got five parties broken up over the course of the year. Made it his personal mission to be the no-fun police," answered the student assistant, reaching behind him to take a piece of paper from the printer and hand it over. "Well he sounds like a right jackass," answered Savannah, the senior student raising an eyebrow curiously. "Don't worry none, I ain't gonna break up no parties. 'Less of course I ain't invited to 'em," she added with a wink, replacing the headphones, dropping her flip-flops on the floor, and sliding her feet into them before throwing the backpack over a single shoulder and heading off, looking down at the paper to see what the verdict was.
