How would a half-trained paladin concept hit ya?
Sounds kosher for an idea sunbro. Ya got four days to solidify a concept.

Yes, I use Inkarnate for my world maps. I'm not that good at it so my works always look a bit rushed, especially the rivers.

I use inkarnate for my tabletop homebrew but just the free version. It takes a bit getting used to with the limited tools but i love the design of the maps.

Application
right-aligned image
Name: Severa Hollen

Race: Human

Alignment: Lawful Good

Class: Cleric

Description: Severa is a pale-skinned and dark-haired woman in her late-teens. Her open, earnest face is frequently graced with a timid smile and her sea-blue eyes sparkle with deep thought and consideration years beyond what they should. Her hair, held loosely, falls neatly just past her shoulders that are slightly more narrow than most. Only 5'2" in height with an unremarkable medium build, Severa moves about with a stately but purposeful gait. She is almost never seen without her clerical vestments, worn over either simple robes or armour.

Personality: Severa likes to consider herself as generous, friendly and approachable, but in truth can come across as calculating and cold for significant swaths of time. She harbours a natural distrust of the outsider despite the incessant and unwavering teachings of the church. That is but an affectation compared to her drive be helpful and to preserve that which is good and orderly in Tarn.

Background: Having been born here, Severa knows no other home than Tarn. Her parents arrived from Golarion and fell in love with this tiny pocket dimension. Both of the elder Hollens are the adventurous type and took to exploring every nook and cranny Tarn. They paused their wanderlust for a time when Severa was very young but as soon as they believed she was old enough to brave the wilds with them.

When Severa was 10, one such expedition to the Western coast, the Hollens came across a pair of otherworldly human bandits who had stumbled their way into this strange land. Everything that happened in that moment was a blur. There were words exchanged, her parents shielded her. The bandits were felled between the combined might of her parents, but at a cost. Her father, shielding the rest of them as he could had taken a grievous blow from which his clothes and ground around which he lay were being stained red. With tears in her eyes, Severa knelt at his side and prayed for her Father. She prayed those same prayers she often heard the clergy of the temple did while the spark of life slowly faded in his eyes. All of sudden, a bright light shone from her fingertips and her father rose with new life, coughing up blood for a moment before clutching at his side. He had been healed and Severa had done it.

Naturally, upon their return to the central city, Severa was taken the main temple where she given proper religious instruction to complement her god-given abilities. Her parents paid for her room and board but otherwise receded from her life, only visiting a few times a year, often with a gift. Initially, Severa resented her parents absence, but over time she came to realize that she had a calling in life and she needed to follow it. She needed to try and start to repay the insurmountable debt of her Father's life returned at the brink.

I know Sirus is 13 years old so I am wondering if you would rather have me bump up the age to 15 so he hits "adulthood" or if that will be an issue?

No issue, it is not like there is an adventuring license that requires a certain age to wander the world. Though people will not take a 13 year old knight (squire at this point) seriously.

Does Sirus have any goals, like joining the Chapterhouse in Stromfel to return to the life of training he had, or does he remain the bookish scholar?

Edit: With 9 applications in mostly complete states, I am changing the amount of applications I am accepting to 5, though some here are still marked as WIP, I am going to be ordering my priority for acceptable apps. Apps with brief backstories that don't link up to the game's start will be lower on the list because I need to reasonably figure out how a character got to a certain campsite outside of Mistbrook.

He really has been tossed about so much as a boy that this is just his lot in life. He is happy being a bookkeeper and trusts in his faith to lead him in the right path. I would say that his training is at the point he knows how to not get immediately murdered in a bad situation but he has no intention of continuing it.

Hello there! You can do it. The best Doctor is known for the saves at the 11th hour.

Make it cool, I likely won't announce selections until midday tomorrow.

On String Theory: How to to Manipulate the Multiverse
right-aligned image

Name: Sheet PendingAlbus Nikols-Hawking, PhD. / Healing Spells/Heal Skill. Cleric role fill-inMD.
Race: Human
Alignment: True Neutral
Class: Talented Bard, with RP spin on spell casting, scientific based knowledge on skillset, and Perform: Butterfly Effect (a.k.a. Hands needed)Scientific Investigator

Description: Son of a high mage and a Tarnus councilwoman, Albus has inherited a small estate and has lived comfortably in the academic circles. As such, he is rather well put together, always speaks with a certain baroque refinement, and appears more feeble than what one would consider a typical adventurer. He has a habit of explaining things in great detail, carrying on dry conversations on subjects boring and obscure, and shows many nervous mannerisms and physical ticks of one who constantly forgoes sleep in exchange for more reading time. He is a delicate man with a pale complexion, yet also strangely alluring both due to his unconventional posh but shaggy look and his own mesmerizing command of language and knowledge. He also has a habit of simply staring at people as they talk without blinking. It's rather unsettling, actually.

Personality: Intense is the first and foremost quality people mutter in the back of their minds. But then captivating comes close second. The sheer amount of factoids that come gushing forth from his mind make him a party favorite for high end events, and a nuisance at low-brow ones. His brain is always on, always processing, always hungering for more information. This causes him no end to sleep as he spends his nights reading, researching, and coming up with new experiments as a hobby. Curiousity being his paramount motivator, he takes it upon himself to unravel the mysteries of the universe and find a way to directly apply it to the realm. As a result, he does lend himself out as an investigator, because science is akin to mystery. He delves deeper into the underlying lore of magical matters, becoming blend of both scientist and occultist. His cold rationale to life makes him appear cold and heartless to emotional concerns, and appears rather uncaring and aloof when it comes to matters of the heart.

Background: Son of the late councilwoman Igrane Hawking and high mage Radagast Nikols, he was practically born with a silver spoon in his mouth from the get-go, especially since his father was a direct descendant of the great Tesselsia themselves. This meant that he was guaranteed unlimited access to the Skytower.

But rather than use his inherited influence to gain entry into the inner circle of mages, Albus found himself content to peruse the vast libraries of the lower levels, and absorbing all he could in terms of information. From an early age he had sensed a connecting thread to all magical schools, and even the apparently god given spells of the more religious types. It was a mental itch that has lasted him well into adulthood and has caused his own unravelling as he keeps pulling at the string to come up with an eventual theory of everything.

His degrees in both the sciences and the medical field are both happenstance as he had pursued the mysteries of the mind and body in the context of the multiverse at large, and his expertise had gotten recognition from the Tower Elders. He wasn't aiming for recognition, but those pieces of paper sure do come in handy when impressing certain types. And it's kinda nice to build a reputation as eventually people seek you out with information instead of the other way around.

He has studied well into his forties now and finally has come to the end of all he could care to glean from the tower, and now finds himself restless for more knowledge. At a time when most have long settled in their careers he is beginning a new venture as they purveyor and solver of mysteries to fund his own research as his lavish lifestyle comes to an end due to his inheritance running dry. It's honest work doing what he loves which is simply getting to the bottom of things.

That felt good. It all kinda just clicked.

Do you need a sheet to consider this a finished app? Because if not, consider this done!
