Appearance: Libby is tall and lanky, and characteristically, most likely found covered in dirt due to her profession. If one can persuade her to take a bath, they would see a pleasant face with curly red hair cut and brown eyes that sparkle with her enthusiasm for life. Libby is partial to overalls with lots of pockets, which are stuffed with the various herbs and instruments of her trade, and even when cleaned up she will still always have her bag of herbs and spare feed, as you ne er know when there might be an animal in need.

 

Personality: Given that she grew up as an only child on the outskirts of a very small village with a Woodsman father, most of her childhood friends were animals and thus although she does like to make human friends, she struggles some times socially as she is very objective, sometimes at the peril of others feelings or thoughts. If one can get past some of her social quirks, Libby is generally happy go lucky and pleasant enough to be around.

Why are you in Pendle? After her affinity for animals and caring for them was discovered at a small age, her family scraped together what they could to send her off to apprentice at the closest town with another vet, as the outlook for socially awkward girl in a tiny village was not great. She spent a few years there, where she quickly was able to pick up on the trade, until she took a job as a traveling vet with a large exotic livestock caravan that stopped for an extended time in Pendle to trade and restock to see a bit more of the world. Growing weary of living on the road after spending a year with the caravan, Libby settled in Pendle for now to help take care of the many pets, farm animals and wildlife creatures that need her services.

Is there a person in the Pendle area that you care about? Henry Freeman, the old hermit who lives on the outskirts of town and tends to a large herd of goats. He is a caring man, whose home reminds her of hers in her youth, and he has lots of goats to be friends with.

Up for bonding? I think we could come up with a fun backstory about Libby saving Spotty through her profession as a vet. I also think the character's personalities would be a match as well (Belal is a realist and Libby is quite objective)

Ylfa long, dark hair is always pulled together in a tight braid. While her clothes may be simple, they are kept clean and in good condition. She is slight for a dwarf, but no one would ever mistake her for anything else. A vivid blue and red feather can be seen in her hair, a treasure to remind her of a favorite hunt.

Personality:
As a child Ylfa was teased by her older brothers. Having learned that the only way to fight back was to outsmart them, which proved to be easy when they turned out to be about as bright as the rocks that they mined. Ylfa has spent half her life living by the motto of "Work smarter, not harder". She is still as ornery as her kin, but her insults sting twice as much.

Why are you in Pendle?:
The feathers from the golden pheasant are all the rage in Waterdeep. Ylfa was never the kind to let easy money go to waste.

Is there a person in the Pendle area that you care about?:
Mathis, a barkeep that never gave her any grief over a Dwarf ordering wine.

My mother is dead, but my father, with my help, manages the woods around Pendle - planting, pruning, and when necessary cutting down trees. Is there a person in the Pendle area that you care about? My Father Robert Longtree. I am worried about him because he was in the forest when the Goblins showed up.

Personality: Hein is a dimwitted, sensitive soul whose feelings are easily hurt and cries when insulted. He loves his hounds and dotes on them, seeing them as friends. Any harm done to them puts him in a rage. He is very trusting and eager to make new friends, but due to his gullibility and innocent mind, he is easily taken advantage of.

Why are you in Pendle? Hein's father brought him to the town after his mother died to have a fresh start. their old home just had too many painful memories. When Hein's father passed on due to illness, Hein took over the family business of raising hounds in order to make money.

Is there a person in the Pendle area that you care about? there is a halfling girl named Maisy that Hein has a crush on, though he doesn't know how to go about courting her. Mostly he lets her play with his dogs, especially the puppies, and brings her flowers.

Personality: Friso is a prim and proper man of good breeding and proper education. comes from a noble family, albeit a minor one, and despite that he is humble and respectful to others, always acting with professionalism and proper decorum

Why are you in Pendle? Friso fled to the frontier town after a purge in the capital saw his lord, and most of his colleagues and associates killed. He now serves Ansel, the leader of Pendle which he thought was a much safer job until the goblin attack.

Is there a person in the Pendle area that you care about? There is a woman named Bell who owns a local bookstore which Friso visits regularly. He is very smitten with her but lacks the confidence to actually pursue a relationship due to his age and gaunt appearance causing him to lack confidence.

Sure that sounds fun. She made friends with his hounds and he's sort of along with the package. Since it's strength and con maybe they have a workout regimen?

I could almost imagine someone asking him, "How do you know Maisy likes you?
"Well she said two words to me yesterday....." Which, for Maisy is probably a lot!

Bond Kassidy and Ylfa - Two of a Kind Physically the tall thin human and the short slight Dwarf were opposites. However, intellectually the two clicked. Kassidy found Ylfa a delightful contrast to most of the villagers. Ylfa was able to carry on an intelligent conversation on a variety of topics. So it was that Kassidy agreed to go with Ylfa on a feather hunting expedition. Ylfa would look for her rare plumage and Kassidy would inspect the woods and prune as necessary. Unfortunately, the two were attacked by a wolf as Kassidy was up a tree with her hatchet, pruning a few branches. Kassidy had left her bow at the base. Fortunately, Ylfa was able to pick up Kassidy's bow. Kassidy from the tree was able to attack the wolf with the one bit of magic sue new. The wolf, surprised and injured by the attack from the two women ran off. Descending from the tree, Kassidy commented, "You are better with that bow than I. Whereas, I feel like I am better with my magical attacks than with the bow."
