Craig, because he's the most recent, and this setting is the more modern one (better tech and gadget options, etc). Personally, my favorite is Pierce Brosnan, because I grew up with his Bond from a young age, and liked the suave charmer type more than Craig's thuggish version.

I hadn't really thought of it that way but you're right. Brosnan seemed like a charmer who could be ruthless whereas Craig is more of a thug who can be charming.

Right!

In my mind, Brosnan could basically be any kind of Bond they needed in the situation, and then turn lethal when needed. Whereas Craig's Bond always felt more like a grenade MI6 threw at whatever they wanted to have destroyed, and the adaptability/suave was tacked on - sometimes unconvincingly...

But, I digress, the latest Bond films were very cinematographic and exciting (even if I felt the story for most was a little lacking). Still, I enjoy any foray into the 007 world, it's bound to have some exciting action and adventure!

Connery for me, likely to the surprise of no one. Dalton a very close second.

Connery is the true Bond. Craig is more thuggish, compared to Connery. Dalton is more intense, compared to Connery. Lazenby is more wooden, compared to Connery. And so on.

They've all got their good and bad points but each portrayal is judged by comparison to the original.

My list would be Connery > Brosnan > Dalton > Moore > Craig > Lazenby

Next Bond should be Henry Cavill

Connery, Dalton, Brosman, Moore, Lazenby, Holness, Craig.
If you're wondering whom Bob Holness is, he's technically the first person to play 007, but on radio. Although I've never heard his performance, I'm putting him ahead of Craig mainly Craig's portrayal stinks, as well as his attitude to the role.
I hope it's Cavill too, and not a stunt casting. Frankly I didn't enjoy the Craig run, and they're going to have to pull out all the stops to get any goodwill out of me.
Tirade over!

Oh this looks very cool! I'm a huge Bond fan and I even have the game, though I've never played.

I'm thinking a scientist/medic type since I don't think we have one.

Dr. Siobhan 'Jane' Kelly
right-aligned image

Name: Dr. Siobhan 'Jane' Kelly (her name is really Siobhan but she goes by her middle name 'Jane' since no one outside Ireland can pronounce 'Siobhan'.)

Age: 26

Nationality: Irish-born, naturalised British citizen

Personality: Bubbly, friendly, patriotic (and obsessed with the Royals), a bit flirty, and seemingly a girly girl through and through without a cynical bone in her body. Many on first meeting Jane assume she's a lightweight, or even an airhead and just about everyone is astonished to learn she is a scientist. Though her friendliness and interest in fashion and horoscopes is entirely genuine she is also highly intelligent and much more strong willed and brave than she might appear.

If needed Jane can put on a tougher, no-nonsense façade.

Family: Jane is the oldest daughter of Tom and Brigid Kelly who emigrated from Ireland when Jane was ten (Jane still has a touch of a Dublin accent which becomes stronger when she is emotional.) Jane's father is a teacher and her mother a journalist and she has a younger sister, Niamh, aged 17 and just about to finish school.

Jane also has several cousins back in Ireland whom she is regularly in contact with and visits, who tease her mercilessly about being a 'Brit'.

History: Jane had a stable, middle class upbringing in London with a wide social circle and not much idea of what to do with her life; though clever and a good student she struggled to find a career that really appealed to her. Almost by accident (in fact she was following a boy she liked) Jane found herself studying medicine. The would be boyfriend ended up dropping out but Jane discovered to her own astonishment that she was both interested and good at this field. She got her degree, then her doctorate.

Jane's expertise came to the attention of MI6 when the young doctor was a passenger on a flight where a foreign diplomat mysteriously fell 'ill'. Jane successfully realised the man had been discretely poisoned and managed to keep him alive until the plane landed. Offered the chance to serve Queen and Country and enjoy a life of travel and excitement while doing so she jumped at the chance!

Profession: Scientist

Speciality: Medicine. Jane would presumably serve as the team medic and general scientist but in a pinch she can do other agent work as well from being charming to self defence.

Brosnan is my favourite Bond. I watched all the films religiously as a child - every Bank Holiday one of the channels had one on! But is was Brosnan in GoldenEye that really got my attention.

Err, sorry to disappoint but Siobhan is a common first female name in Scotland too.

Thanks for your interest and application!

Jane looks great, and someone skilled with some medic training would be a boon in the field, for sure!

Well we Celts need to stick together!

Thanks!

I'm afraid I know nothing about medicine other than being a fan of Scrubs so you'll just have to hope Jane herself knows more than her player!

Edit: Oh and I am also a Brosnan fan for the record (though I like all of the actors). Craig is a skilled actor and his films are well made but I never found them much 'fun'.

I agree about the Craig films. I always found them too dramatic? I like to watch Bond to escape into an over-the-top spy adventure, not deal with a - arguably not great - personal relationship, with spy elements tacked on.

But that's just me.
