Okay, as I've been privately discussing, I am willing to allow regular classes. They just get 16 more HP and more features than before. Imagine: building a class you actually want to play~ I would recommend, in these builds specifically, coming up with a story way to gain additional abilities, or you will be greatly left behind by the existing classes. I also will be holding a preference for using the classes I made, but that doesn't mean I'm necessarily going to not take others, or not take others who would fill the same niche. But keep in mind, this is a modernish setting, not a standard fantasy one. Equipment you start with will most likely be modified.

CLERIC App What is your name? Father Jendal Daeric What are your age and pronouns? Uhm, He/Him, I guess.. in doubt, just call me Father. You come from Qoru. Why did you leave? Why come to Great Uhl? How did you find out about Hotel Silent-Nya? Well, I decided to take a break from climbing the clerical ladder and give a more hands-on support to whom might need it. I noticed we received many requests from the Great Uhl area that we didn't have the time or the resources to follow up, so here I am, with my medical expertise and a cart of books as donation. What were your favorite and least favorite parts of Qoru? Of your time in the Mind Temple? Ah! Qoru, Qoru, Qoru! The capital of the academics! And yet our pride is also our greatest shame. Since I gained the title of Father of the Mind Temple I tried to push legislation that would make it so that free education would be available to anyone under the sixteen of age. I made speeches, wrote essays, consulted with politicians, I even had to bribe to get to talk with certain people, and after two years of hard work I hit a wall, partially built by own church as well.. The capital of knowledge unfortunately is extremely corrupt and set in its ways of keeping the poor ignorant. Still I'm very proud of my failed crusade. Why are you searching for a moon shard? Do you believe the huckster's tale? What will you wish for, if the tale is true? Well.. you know.. there a little bit of truth in every tale.. I guess I'm curious about the civilization that preceeded us. I'm curious about the well of knowledge that got lost in the apocalypse. Will we also face an apocalypse? Can we avoid it? Should we avoid it or it's a natural cycle of life that sentient species have to keep starting over? This is what I would ask a Moon Shard if I'd find one, but I'm not sure they would work that way. Appearance: My order's brown robe is usually kept as tidy as I can afford to. In my travels I'm sporting the roving model, it's thicker, has more pockets and is very comfortable. I usually wear the Mind Temple medallion on the outside, just in case someone needed my help and had to identify a priest of knowledge on the go. I also like to keep my beard clean and in order to make a good impression, but on the road it's not easy nor a priority, fortunately. History: Between his parents being college professors and his life in the Temple, Jendal lived a pretty sheltered life. The Mind Temple still trains everyone, becus, you know.. mens sana in corpore sano, but he had never had to take a life yet. He's a trained physician but he took great interest in history for which he's actually licensed to teach at college level. After the aforementioned delusion with his 'free-education' campaign, he decided to take a break from the political frontline of the Mind Temple and take a less public role.

Ahahah! Whoops! I added it in, I didn't think of specifying because I thought it was already quite obvious, but you're right, nowhere I used the word 'Cleric'.

We can talk in the OOC thread about your characters, as well, such as what extra abilities Father Jendal has.
