Definitely interested. Just need to look over all those homebrew races before a settle on an apllication.

Ok, Golarian gods,
Custom races check.
Do you have available a map with important geography and political units?

@RisenMartyr. How set are you on the "several" times a week for the post rate? that's at least a Daily Post rate and its not something i can consistently manage and commit too. Couple times a week sure.

I'll understand if you want to keep the post rate high if that works best for your style but would sadly have to withdraw my application as not to hold everyone else up.

I'm curious about the LAs for some of the templates, specifically:
  • Void Touched
  • Felblood
  • Fire Infused
  • Nether Warped

Red-Haired Moll
right-aligned image
Name: Molly McBride (AKA Red-Haired Moll, AKA Captain Bloodhorn).
Race: Satyr
Class: Unchained Rogue (Phantom Thief)
Party Role: face with Intimidation-based buildMake enemies piss themselves with fear

Appearance: At first glance, Moll appears short and slim, with lithe slender limbs and a wild, bushy mane of ginger hair. She might not seem imposing, until one makes eye contact. Then her sharp eyes burn with a wild fire that seems to pierce the soul. Peering into those eyes, it is clearly evident that they have borne witness to slaughter without the barest inkling of regret.

Personality: Moll makes up for her small stature and slight frame with a truly over-sized personality. To her friends, she is jovial and gregarious, quick with a story or a joke, easy to laugh loudly and boisterously, with an ever-present, slightly-lopsided smile on her lips, suggesting a hint of mischief always lying underneath everything she says. She is brash, headstrong, and most of all - terrifyingly unpredictable. To those who have not yet earned her friendship, Moll exudes a palpable aura of uncertainty and menace, as though she is never more than a hair’s breadth away from slitting someone’s throat.

Background/Motivations:

@RisenMartyr --

I've revised my build a bit based on our discussion about the Drunken Brawler.

@Rhaiber --

Hello!

My character application here is a blade of mercy intimidate sneak attack build, as well.

My hope is that for this game everyone can commit to several times a week (Almost Daily)
For the DM, that means at least a couple times a day to monitor/answer questions/post long posts/ post quick posts that clarify things. Is this what you have in mind RisenMartyr?

@Cat: Wow, that's funny. I hadn't looked at all the details of your build until you mentioned it. On the surface, it looks like we might be going at it from slightly different angles (looks like you have a beefy bruiser of an intimidator, while I'm going for a charismatic, finesse build who relies on her "Dread Pirate Roberts"-like reputation to make people wet themselves). If we both end up getting selected, we could work together to refine things and make an even clearer distinction if you want.

@RisenMartyr: if you are totally opposed to having two potential intimimancers, let me know and I can put together a Plan B character app.

Goshdang it.. for a full caster I can't afford a Lap, but that Mechanized template is calling me so hard...

If we could swap around that +2 Int -2 Wis it would help my analysis paralysis oh-so-much..

I don't even care about the stat modifiers (which, are after all, great), I could take them or leave them, but the immunities are just so perfect and representative for a 'robot'!

It doesn't work because in my head robots don't have souls to commute with the gods

I don't expect one post per day, but I check almost daily and sometimes multiple times a day as my schedule allows. If you can post 3-4 times per week, that is good. If you can most more than that, great.

I don't mind more than one intimidation specialist.

I could swap the Int and Wis mods. The mechanized are magical robots or cyborgs in concept. They usually come from a society hidden underground that makes modifications or perfections to their members. It's not unheard of for a citizen to go rogue and see the world.

ORM KINGSBANE
Wildborn dwarven noble scion at the brink of disinheritance

Application: Orm Kingsbane
right-aligned image
Name: Orm Kingsbane

Race: Wildborn Dwarf

Class: Unchained Monk 2 | Psychic Warrior 2 | Elemental Infused (Earth) 1

Party Role: Melee control

Appearance: Orm is one thick wilderness to look at. His tangled hazel-brown beard seems to start just below the heavy drooping, deep-set eyes of flint and steel, and flow over thick cheeks, strong jawline, and a barrel of a chest. His hair has been trimmed away, and the mottled skin shows quite a few impressive scars entwined with his kin's sacred, runic tattoos - most of them with a certain serpentine theme. Thick, hairy arms end in calloused hands with straps of leather and cloth wrapped around his knuckles. He wears no armor, but an awkwardly embroidered wool vest and brown shorts with leather trimming. Thick-soled turtle-leather boots match the pouches and purses tightly secured to a few belts and sashes around his waist. Orm has a faint smell of sweat and leather around him. Most people are not offended by the smell and as Orm’s cousin, Thorkil Rendwound, always used to say: "Better smell like a week’s work than being marked as a sloth."

Personality: Orm’s behavior works in mysterious ways. In the mornings he is sour, short-tempered, and prone to bursts of anger. Come noon - and if the sun is shining - you have the most pleasant and talkative comrade in Orm. Rain and snow have a somewhat melancholic impact on the dwarven mercenary. In the evenings, when the mead and good strong ale are passed around, Orm is quick to get himself tipsy - this, in turn, means he becomes philosophical and straightforward in his assessment of the world. These nights are those where he feels very much at home and can talk in length about the grandness of having friends and being close-knitted together.

Going with what appealed me most, I'll always be able to make a human cleric, but can't pass up a character that doesn't sleep or eat.

Vasar
right-aligned image

"Does everything but live."

Name: Vasar (presents himself as Sir Vasar)
Race: Half-Orc - Mechanized
Class: Fighter
Party Role: Tanky Melee

Appearance: From afar, Vasar can be mistaken for dwarf or stocky human in heavy armor, but up close it's noticeable that he's closer to a golem than a living being. Built with different materials, as his construction was carried out through many lifetimes, his exterior is made with extremely durable, yet differently colored as they oxidized differently. With a bell shaped body, his -effective, but- stumpy legs, make him wobble when he's not running, which might look a bit ridiculous. Two glassy lenses with a light-blue light feature as gentle eyes, with metallic eyelids that mostly work as intended when Vasar is meant to express emotions. With no visible mouth to move when he talks with his almost monotone voice, he has two bronze moustaches that mildly rotate on their axes to give a semblance of life.

Personality: The mechanical soldier is always courteous in his speech pattern and he's always kind and respectful, which helps people that he talks to that might be afraid of the soulless automaton that is speaking to them. Vasar is always proactive and thinking of a plan, limited and directed as it might be. He feels like a holy knight, who's orders are to hit the bad guys so that the innocents can thrive. He has trouble understanding the grey areas in-between, but he's trying. He often points out the differences between himself and living beings, with a touch of bitterness transpiring through his monotone voice.

Background: Almost a century ago, the dwarf inventor Vasar decided that he wanted to experiment creating an automaton from very special ingredients: he spent a fortune in acquiring metallic relics from the major religions whose fields were war, glory and honor and melted them into the core components to build his creation, holy metal would be the chassis for this mechanized soldier. The dwarf passed of old age before he could finish and his human apprentice decided he would finish the project. He did a lot, trying to keep up with the genius of his old master's intentions, but human lives are sadly limited, and it was the then-apprentice-now-master's apprentice to finish the work on the mechanical soldier, named after his original inventor, Vasar.

It was obvious that the soulless warrior was not worth the years, nor the material put in its construction, its last creator wanted to scrap it for its extremely valuable parts, but once activated, the engineer had no way of turning Vasar off, and it was made to be very hard to kill. The engineer decided to cut his losses and sent Vasar out in the world he was so eager to explore and protect.

The one-man-army (this was the original tagline of its blueprint) discovered war, lost friends, learned. Despite the epic greatness of armies clashing, Vasar soon decided that war was wasteful and stupid, and decided to find more direct ways of helping the world.

Motivations: Vasar (the dwarf) made Vasar (the fighter) to be a paladin of sorts, and in that he succeeded: he's pure of heart and will do everything to save the good guys. He's fascinated by living beings and secretly wishes he could be one, but that's just daydreaming, because let's face it, how can you save the world in just one lifetime?

@RisenMartyr

Much to like here. Thanks for the effort.

I have a character idea I hope to submit over the weekend.

Q: Regarding the "Templates". Would you prefer us to elude to them in a (background) write up or leave them alone? (I kind of assumed the templates might be assigned later.)

In either case, I can put the idea together for your review without the Template and see where it goes.

This looks good. I am very happy to see that there is still some PF1 games in action.

I will add in the prospect of a air-infused grey troll kineticist. I think that could be an interesting PC to play.
