Queen Andromache Name; Queen Andromache Gender: Female (born physically male, magically transitioned) Class: Fighter (Arcane Archer) Chosen Culture to emulate; Amazons (ie. Greek) Personality; Proud, brave, confident and stubborn. Queen Andromache is a warrioress and leader at heart. She isn't stupid (she's a wily tactician amongst other things) but day to day governing is less her forte than leading her warrioresses into battle. She is not overly fond of males, though some can win her trust and she is aware she must deal with her brothers in diplomacy. Appearance; A tall, striking looking woman with dark blonde hair (usually hidden under her helmet) and green eyes. She moves with a combination of grace and power that can unnerve some on first meeting. Unless the occasion absolutely demands she go weaponless she is rarely seen without a bow. Backstory; The individual who would later become Queen Andromache was presented as male at birth and until their teens proved an unsatisfactory prince - awkward, shy, clumsy and weak willed. A disappointment to their mother the young royal was sent to a monastery, but never arrived. Instead the prince's caravan was ambushed by Kratesipolis, the famous brigand queen. The prince had never seen someone so remarkable and all at once came to a realisation: though brought up a boy she was truly a woman and her awkwardness had stemmed from her unhappiness with her body. Talking the name Andromache the princess impressed the brigand queen with her new found confidence and certainty. Kratesipolis trained her in combat and leadership and inducted her into the mysteries of the war goddess. Later Andromache's arrows saved a shrine to the goddess from raiders and in gratitude her physical body was reshaped to better match her female self. Andromache went on more adventures with a growing band of female comrades before King Asguild's death neared. As a Queen Andromache is famous for her distrust of men and though they are allowed to live in her lands, marry and conduct almost all business she keeps only women amongst her advisors at court and trusts her famed Amazon archers above all.

Race: Half Orc
Class: Warlock (Hexblade?)
Chosen Culture to emulate: Mesoamerica: Classic period
Personality: Lady Ix’ Ajaw is the definition of a ‘civilized’ half orc. Proud, confident and well educated, Ix walks with her head held high and speaks in a manner that shows she has had formal education. She is friendly and quite social and enjoys good conversations with others. She is also curious about those around her and sometimes she has a tendency to be nosey in order to find out what is going on.

However, despite her upbringing that taught her self-control, Ix is still a half orc and such sometimes her anger comes out, especially when she is engaged in combat or has suffered what she considers a great insult to herself, her family or her people.
Because of her upbringing in a rigidly divided society, she will only directly talk to those of noble birth or those descended from nobility and those of the middle class. She avoids talking to the other lower classes, unless it’s deemed necessary to do so.

Appearance: Ix is typical looking for a half orc, and with the clothing she wears, she really stands out. Ix stands almost 7 feet tall and weighs around 200-225 pounds. She skin has a grayish hue to it and two of her lower teeth stick out from her mouth like small, thin tusks. Her forehead slopes backwards towards the back of her head, but it’s hard to tell if she was born this way or it’s the result of cranial modification that her people practice.

The clothing she wears is very elaborate. Her dress is a simple but brightly colored patterns on it. She usually wears jade ear spools and jade jewelry that are big and bold in design. Her head dress is equally elaborate, with long feather sweep backwards and a large ornate decoration of some type on the front of it.


Backstory: Ix’s orc mother was a farmer and had the hard life of a commoner. However, one random day, King Asguild got frisky with her mother, the end result being the birth of IX. Because of the royal blood that flowed through her vines, Ix and her mother found their lives suddenly changing for the better. On her birth, the both of them were taken to the royal court and became part of the royal household. Ix now had access to astronomy, mathematics, agriculture, art and writing and was trained in these fields of study. The priests taught her the rituals of her people, how to preform them and learned the calendar system that went alone with it. And finally the warriors taught her the art of warfare and the discipline that went along with it. Even though her mother wasn’t granted access to this knowledge because of her social status, Ix taught her these things without any objections from the ruling royal class.

And now Ix finds herself at the death bed of her father, King Asguild, at his request. He wasn’t in her life when she was growing up, but because of his bloodline, her and her mother’s standard of living was greatly improved For this, Ix was thankful for. And now he was offering all of his offspring a piece of his kingdom.

What surprised Ix the most about this whole thing wasn’t the gift of land, but the sheer number of siblings that she now had. It was also quite apparent now. Her father got frisky with a lot of people besides her mother! No wonder he is on his death. He wore himself out!

Aramir however is far from greedy and would be among the first to share what he has, infact since seeing how the common folk live Aramir decided to live a more frugal life and dedicated himself to making the lives of others better. Aramir has rather idealistic ideals, he sees the best in everyone and believes that everyone should work together for the good of all. Aramir strongly believes in doing what is right not what is easy and that you should stand up for you believe. Aramir is somewhat of an exemplar of the virtues of a knight, he is brave, compassionate and selfless. Appearance: Standing at a height of six foot two and solidly built Aramir is the very image of a knight. It is rare to see him without armour of some kind or proudly bearing the image of a rising sun the symbol of his knightly order. Aramir’s features like most of his family are also rather striking. He possesses long golden hair, bright blue eyes, flawless skin and a rather handsome face. Backstory: Aramir was born in the City of Taragus a small human city that had survived for many generations. Aramir was the son of Lady Dalia of House Nordwin. House Nordwin was a minor noble family in the Kingdom though they could trace their lineage back to the beginning of the Kingdom when once they had been a much more powerful family. House Nordwin however despite being a minor noble family well known for possessing an almost unnatural beauty and long lifespans often retaining their youthly vigor into old age. Dalia ofcourse was no exception and this was likely why she had attracted the king's eye. Being born the son of a noble (and the illegitimate son of the King) Aramir was raised on the family estates and was used to a life of privilege. Growing up he wanted for nothing and there was a household of staff that helped to raise and look after the young boy. As a boy as was befitting his noble status Aramir was taught the art of the sword from a young age and he seemed to have a natural talent for it. Once he was old enough Aramir joined the Order of the Radiant Dawn an Knight order that was based in the City of Taragus and held xxxxx as their patron deity. As a Knight of the Radiant Dawn Aramir then began to travel around the kingdom doing good deeds in the name of the order such as hunting down bandits or dealing with monster incursions.

Sure. I'll be creating their civilizations as well. I'll provide a list (without sharing their location) and if anyone dies or is overtaken or gets tired of their choice and wants to start again..

Just to be sure... The King was holding tight 25 differents civilizations in the same continents and Make a descendent in each of that territories as his legacy on his death wish...

so We must be the same "tribe" and/or "Race" than the territories we will receive ?

can you clarify and wrong in my comprehension of the setting

First; Didn't I post the map before? I swear I posted it and now can't find it. I'll keep hunting.

Kham; Unfortunately yes, it would be difficult to put multiple continents on one slide and be large enough for people to see.

Different civilizations, kind of, the man was a manwhore and had a lot of concubines. The women came from different civilizations and the mothers spent more time and influenced each child. Daddy was too busy taking over the continent. The 'districts' themselves are vanilla and will take on the traits you give them.

The reason players can choose to be other races is because the concubines are not specified and I posted earlier, that although technically most are half breeds, if they want to be a Full Elf treat it as a dominant race in the mix as if they were pure blood.

Regarding the races within the land you choose. If you want it to be a pure race or you want it to be a mixture with diversity. Those are going to be determined by you. I intentionally left a lot of information out of the lands because I want you to have the freedom to build it the way you want.

I don't think a King would say 'I'm dead here' I would think he brought each child in to choose maybe four to six months prior and allowed each of you to take over then so he could die in peace.

ANd No Feat ... you mean human cant take the Variant .... AND when 4 lvl is reach ... must choose to raise stat ? right ... or ( IMO feat make colors ... but its ok if you prefer not to put them it this political game )

Beige= beach, sand; Dark Green = thick forest, Light green is a hybrid between rolling hills and forest (not thick so can sustain, but not export in large quantities.), blue = water, gray = Moutains. There are rivers flowing from the mountains as well. All water on the inland is freshwater.

DOH!!! This is why 5th ed drives me nuts. Yes, go ahead be variants, I guess that is another correction on my part. color? I needed my niece to tell me what the colors were on the map and now you want more color? I'm colorblind.

but use the 5th edition rules. I keep reverting to 3.5.

Alright, if we have everyone rolled to determine who selects first, we can start looking at the map and picking.


I know Dirk is dealing with a hurricane right now and I'll be dealing with it by Thursday. so if anyone finds an Admin to create a game link, I'd appreciate it. I tend to get lost in the mix.
