And, I think I kinda messed up on her name too. What a mouthful Ulloa Duskmist. I gotta work on that name. Last edited by cappucina; Jan 20th, 2023 at 11:50 PM. |

Bloop
yes, just bloop Plasmoid Path of the Beast Barbarian Background Outlander Ability Scores Str - 17 Dex - 14 - Con -16 Int- 10 Wis - 8 Cha - 8 Personality Bloop is a pretty easy going glob, and doesnt let much get to them. They are a bit of an anomaly already where they were from, but now even more so being around even more solid non-maliable people that look like animals now. Not that that matters, they are used to being the weird one. More often than not Bloop is curious to do something they are unfamiliar with, and usually with enthusiasm. Bloop isnt smart, but Bloop also isnt afraid, knowing that their alien ooze body is capable of dealing with most problems, hostile, or not. Bloop will often be found in ooze form rather than taking a more humanoid one as they prefer to be "what they are" rather than try to be something they arent. That said when Bloop does decide to make themself humanoid in shape it is an imposing, and intimidating figure with broad shoulders, and thick arms, though usually no definition for facial features or the like. This makes understanding them difficult at first until one realizes how blunt, and to the point Bloop tends to be with their words. Physical Description There is not a lot to say about Bloop's appearance as they usually look like a blob of medium sized ooze of no descript shape. Their color changes often as Bloop is known to eat dye, and foods that change the color of their body. inside the amorphous glob of ooze small iridescent flecks can be seen inside of the substance almost like a very fine "glitter" along with other floating bits that compose the actual cellular make-up of their organs and body. Currently Bloop is a teal color, and in blob form about four and a half feet tall with sufficient mass. The jiggly ooze of their body is translucent. Backstory Bloop doesnt talk about their past much, and most believe it all comes down to them not being a very cerebral creature, but its more than that. Part of their alien philosophy is thus. "We dont get scars" which can be boiled down to we don't hold ties to the past. While plasmoid culture is rich, and complex Bloop is a person displaced from their people with little to no memory of kith or kin at all. Bloop does remember being aboard multiple vessels sailing the seas as a member of the crew, needing no more space than a barrel for sleeping, and being more formidable, and able bodied than most solid bodied folk. It was after a few years that Bloop began to sail with Sir Roderick, and was a member of his crew for quite a while, earning his place among the crew, and amongst their friends.

Hey Amarga! This looks like it is going to be a fun game, one I'd certainly like to join. I wrote up a character which I feel would fit the setting well- both motivated to look for sir Roderick, and fascination with this strange world she finds herself in. Please let me know if there's anything you'd like me to add, change or remove- feedback is always welcome!
(also I switched out the paladin's standard issue chain mail for leather armour, since that fits my image of her better- please let me know if you'd rather I change it back!) Last edited by DemonSlayer; Jan 22nd, 2023 at 12:52 PM. |

Great Characters so far, everyone!
I'm honestly already quite happy about the attention this has gotten, so as I mentioned earlier I'm now going to set the deadline for submissions as February 1st. I'll then have characters selected before February 7th. I've also added a character table to the ad for organization (mostly my own). I'll also be doing character reviews to help people answer any questions they might have had with their characters, so look for those coming up!

Nah that works, I suppose the proper term for what I want people to avoid is anthropomorphic races
