Perhaps a dice rolling thread would be nice to roll for HP? Or should we do it in our character sheet post?

Sure, we can throw up a mechanics thread for dice rolls. I'll do that now. HP rolling rule: 1st level always gives max hp, each level beyond that you roll and keep what you roll if it's greater than 1/2 the die, or else just take 1/2.

Ok, character is up. Still working out my feat selection and gear. I'm not 100% on my choice to focus on the naginata as I don't have much experience with reach builds. I'm open to advice from the peanut gallery on good feat options to choose for that route.

Never done reach build before either, sorry. Could be interesting though. Also, regarding magic items, since we only have one character that can heal at all, and the whole adventure takes place in a single night, it would be wise to invest a little of your gold in some healing potions. Just saying

Heh heh, if only. No, unfortunately tealcisgod's character sheet is far from done (he's on a trip from London to Las Vegas at the moment, told me he would complete it on monday), and PopCultureBard still hasn't chosen his magic items yet. Also, I can't seem to access Draco's sheet... (sending pm). So it looks like we'll get started sometime early next week, if everyone is ready by then that is. Also, who would like to volunteer to be the lucky character that shows up last at the monastery?

The last one to show up would likely be Zariel. After all, she's half-demon. Religious places don't really sit well with her.

Thought I'd mention this now. I'm going to use the rule from the 3.5 Frostburn book (deals with extreme cold environments) in regards to energy resistance and natural conditions. Basically, if your character has (or achieves through spells, etc.) Cold Resistance 5 then they become immune to cold damage from the environment. I know this applies to Zariel bu I didn't check anyone else yet. Just FYI.

Then she doesn't necessarily need the Cold-Weather Outfit, then. Good to know. I think I might switch that up, if that's the case.

Well, you might want to keep it for rp purposes anyway. Yes, she could run around in the storm in a bathing suit without worrying about it, but that will definitely raise suspicions amongst the religious monks at the monastery...
